This rom seems dead. I moved on and can fully recommend team union rom. Chrack and Eybee are involved and its TW and can have a minimal install using aroma.

Hey its not dead -- just no reason to update anything yet. Remember, this is a stockish lite ROM.

So I'm not going to be putting in all of the latest mods and themes, etc -- that is an exercise for the user.

When Sammy updates with bug fixes, new software, whatever, I will consider updating BurtROM.

Moved from this rom to the Team Union one yesterday to see if I notice any difference between them. I didn't mind this rom but I felt a very noticeable lag after 3 days+ of uptime.

Will see if it's the same on the union one as it's also from the same source however I have installed the odexed version.

Forgive my attitude. I understand where you are coming from now, and I guess its like one user said earlier that this thread is not as active as there isn't anything that needs fixing! I also think I suffer from flash addiction and guess I am a sucker for bugs, new releases, basically stress! Haha.

Thanks for burt rom, I did use it for a fair amount of time and I shall be sure to check out any new releases if they appear.

Has anyone ever encounter battery suddenly getting hot?

When i check the battery usage i notice that Android OS consume more battery that Screen and that is weird..
When that happen the battery drains ridiculously fast..
After charging to 100% again then it become normal again..
It happen to me twice already

Oh forget to mention im on BurtRom XXLSC.

try changing ur battery..or maybe download aome battery saver eg. juice defender.. yup the screen does consumes battery its all depends on how u use the phone.
and i did reflash new philz kernel 4.90xxlz...

hi there .. i dont know if i searched enough on xda... so i was wondering if the camera.apk it is great with the option to have shutter sound on/off
but these days ive been keen to take pictures...but it realy bugs me that the auto focus sound is there when i take picture..is there any way to disable it ??

as for me now when phone is on silent mode there is no shutter sound

What if you turn the volume to Mute? Wouldn't the take care of that? Then unmute or volume up when you're done?

How about deleting the sounds you don't want in /system/media/ui ... Use browser with root access

had to reflash rom n update to new philz kernel 4.90.. yes i manage to delete all sound from camera on media/ui....
lsf is newer of older from xxlsz.. sweet rom using this already..it does look god with some s4 feature..but 800mb download is too much .

Could not boot past samsung logo. Is it just me or has anyone else had this problem? Had to restore previous rom
I used the one from google drive and I have the suspicion its corrupted.
