I am responding to my own email....
kuronosan, does your latest rom have the sport mode (so that sensors keep working when screen or at least backlight goes off)?
Let me know if I need a newer rom version...which I have not downloaded yet because Chrome tells me the the "All Tools" package containes malicious code....can you confirm it is clean (if not I do not know how to install any of your roms...)? Link is at the 2nd post in this section....Thanks!

Wouldn't worry about that. Haven't had a single person complain about a virus. I have an alternate link if you'd like.
Bitdefender thinks there is a trojan in mtkdroidtools.exe. Mine also quarantines it every time. But it's a false positive probably. I just excluded it from the quarantine and just used it anyway.
Gen:[email protected] this is what bitdefender finds. But internet also says there is a high probability that is is a false positive.

Your CameraPatcher script is not working btw. in the .bat file the GoogleCamera.apk push command is not there ;)

Trying to give my watch another go. Got this ROM installed OK. No real problems there.

However I'm finding battery life is quite poor compared to previous efforts. I get about 12 hours only with it in "flight" mode but with Wifi on (bluetooth stays off). Location services i.e. GPS is off too. No SIM card is installed.

I haven't installed much in the way of apps. Play Store, Battery Monitor Widget and set up my Gmail account, SWapp and that's about it. SWapp is not being used though since bluetooth doesn't really work. I'm not wearing the watch - just leaving it sit on my desk in range of Wifi.

When I look at the battery usage I see it exactly evenly split. It's not showing as awake when the screen is off.

With Wifi only I get

Phone idle 50%
Wifi 50%

With both tasks showing running time equal to time on battery.

If I turn on Bluetooth I get

Phone idle 33%
Wifi 33%
Bluetooth 33%

and with GPS (from memory)

Phone idle 25%
Wifi 25%
Bluetooth 25%
GPS 25%

Are these stats even accurate?

Previous efforts with Loki's original patched ROM would have had this last at least a couple of days if not quite a bit more.

Any ideas?

I downloaded the All Tool archive, installed it and made a backup of the IMEI/NVRAM and using root.backup.restore (after temporarily rooting).
Btw, when I ran DPInst64 it complained about 3 drivers that could not be installed (Google and 2 MediaTek). Hope that is ok....
Can you please point me to the latest, most detailed documentation of how to flash I need the latest and best rom that includes the Sport mode. Again, I have the ensec April 27 V2.0 rom installed (US 1/8GB Extreme kickstarter developer edition)....a hint how to get there with minimum effort/risk to flash that capability is highly appreciated.
Also, when I try to load the NA firmware, I get an error message that the file is gone?: https://www.dropbox.com/s/pinh2kw4t26c4i5/TS-NA-0706.rar
Thanks for any hints + help!!!!

Whoops. I must have accidentally deleted that.
Can you please re-upload?
Also, are the following instructions still valid? anything important missing (do not want to brick my TS)...?
4) Flash the firmware
4.1) Download corresponding firmware archive and unpack it
4.2) Open folder "All Tools" -> "2 SP Flash Tool"
4.3) Run "flash_tool.exe"; don't mind the scatter file warning
4.4) On "Download" tab click "Scatter-loading"
4.5) Navigate to the folder with firmware (from step 4.2)
4.6) Select file "MT6572_Android_scatter.txt"
Thanks!

PS: My TS is a US 1900 Omate TrueSmart. 1GB/8GB; custom build version: ensec_20140427_V2.0

Hi Kuronsan...any progress on the rom that I sent you? I know it seems to be the newest but I haven't been able to use my watch ever since you said not to do any sort of patch yet.

Hi there,

I've recently received a replacement TueSmart from Omate with new details below :
- kernel: 3.4.5
- custom build version: Omate_Truesmart_20140801.113758_V2.0
- Baseband version : MOLY.WR8.W1315.MD.WG.MP.V4, 2013/08/14 18:16

This is an APAC 2100Mhz 1/8 model (I believe equivalent to EU but unsure).

I'd like to know if I'm safe to flash this ROM? Any benefit to wait for this new version to be repackaged?

Thanks a lot.
