Hi!
Im looking at this ROM to increase the functionalaty and batterylife om my "new" Omate, i bought it in used conditions from a member on a swedish android forum,
and thought it would be better to ask the questions now, rather then after i soft bricked the divice.
Since i got it in used condition, im not sure what model and when it arrived, but ill try to provide as much info as possible for the best help
Box says 1/8 (minimalistic text says: Ram 983mb free ram 692mb, and phone storage says internal storage 1.27 gb, phone storage 4,91 gb + SD card) so it seems to be right i guess.
about region, it must be EU since i can make calls with it in sweden i suppose.
I think the device arrived around june, and was ordered during the kickstarter thing when it started

does anyone notice any issues with the EU TS connecting to 3g networks? mine is an EU unit on Dan's 07.06 Eu rom and all is working fine except this i have tried in various countries that are supposed to work but the TS never manages to locate and join a 3G network. 2g, wifi, gps etc all works fine though!

Hello! Has anybody tested this rom on other mt6572 smartwatches? I have z15 watch which is pretty much a clone of Omate TS (mt6572, 512 MB ram, 4GB rom, 1,55" TFT screen with 240x240 resolution, 3g, wifi&BT 4.0) and it's running a rom from January 2014. I got the watch rooted, but the rom basically sucks. There's OTA updater but I think it's just for looks as the updater doesn't connect to any server...

I'm very interested in this rom you have created (and it's praised all over ) What would be the chances for this rom to work on z15?

Hi Kurosan...I know you've been trying and been busy as well. Will this North American version be compatible with my watch. I sent you the specs and uploaded the files to you. My watch has been sitting in its case for quite a while now as you stated that I shouldn't do anything until you looked in to it. Thanks.

So omate/Umeox have something to say about KitKat? So far, any time I've contacted them all I've gotten is either silence .. or "Product not supported, we're working on the X" ( read -- Umeox is working on a new generation of crappy watch and we have run out of Bull**** ).

Nice! The z15 is running on Android 4.2.2
I watched xda's TS teardown video and did it myself to this watch (did not break the home button thou). I'm quite sure it's exactly like TS. On every spec except the crystal screen coating and "waterproof" rubber pieces. So I'm confident enough to test the rom.

After looking over the August firmware I've determined there's nothing of benefit to you guys in the system, but I DID update the kernel to the August Kernel because there are some driver updates (this is only for the Post-May people). Pre-May units really don't benefit at all from either.

These are pre-rooted with all security patches applied.
