Horrendous Battery Life

Guys, am I the only one who is seeing horrible battery life with R5? The usage screen shows "android system" consumes >75% of battery with the screen off while connected to WiFi. If the phone just sits on my desk for an hour, it will lose 5% or more. This is way worse than stock drain. Any suggestions?

I understand that you've moved on to another phone, but do you have any idea why mine might be experiencing such terrible battery life? Stock would last nearly twice as long.

ive flashed it already and works fine but theres an icon blinking on status bar.. how can i disable it?

how can i turn off the nfc icon on status bar?? nfc settings not present on the settings..
