I can't install backup app from titanium backup. Maybe it's block from halo. Could anybody can tell me how to deactivated the halo..tq

This rom is awesome and fantastic.. Good work you all Dev...thanks..

- There is guide already use SL guide and use this guide for PA Setup.] You can try by yourself If any help needed than just post here.

P.S. :: I have already tried PA building few days ago But it will generate error and build do not get completed. I am trying to fix build. As of now our device Tree is not compitable with PA Android Build System. If any update than surely post on guide thread,

List of Roms that we can not kanging if someone can compile with direct source
two reasons

- Compilation and decompilation of unknown methods ID apktool (principally on the Nightly)
- Libandroid-runtime produces errors that we can not verify
because not having access to logcat on boot CM10.1 since the kernel 3

The only NEW minor issues with the kang is accomplished darkslim can be broken in some rom when you decompile the framework-res

Hi there LolaTion , I already know both reasons. That new ADB from 4.2 requires Allow from mobile side. so its not possible yet to get logs on first boot.

But when ROM boots (CM10.1) enable adb. give access to ADB. and than flash PORT rom without factory
reset. just cache wipe. it should work. Because few day ago i tried this and it worked. I was able to get log.

And about Apktool i havent used it from many days. Wait for new apktool update may be it will fix recompile problem.Thanks

sorry for my english very bad

even on a rom with permission ADB it is impossible to see the logcat to bootanimation

test please
connect ADB to samsung logo you will see that the logcat works only after loading method framework only

I agree logcat see all log but only after started framework part

how to debug a rom if it does not start at the begin bootanimation
no logcat, can not debug for make boot


I even flash a zip to incorporate my key ADB to allow radically but no need because on original rom booted ADB allow works also but at final boot only

I am experiencing many random touches on fone sometimes.. I know this because I have enabled "show Touches" in dev settings. some times, it randomly starts touches everywhere on screen doing all things which I dont intend, closing apps/opening some etc. I have to lock fone and unlock it again few times then it stops.
Also batter life is becoming less :(
I cant play any videos on fone except the ones I shoot on my fone

I too use 'show touches' option & I'm not experiencing any random touches. My SL is running on Alpha 7. So i don't think that option is the cause for random touches. It might be because of dirt or water on screen AFAIK.

I am not saying its because of that option.. I just said I got to know this issue because of that option..it might be because of dirt but it goes away if I lock my fone and unlock it again :-?

i've installed v23 version yesterday,it's a nice rom but the biggest problems are the continuos SOD
i come from DDLF2 Rooted and i installed this rom after a full wipe.

    After months of work, the long awaited PACman 4.2 rom is ready for public released. This is still work in progress WIP and there are many missing parts. Though the rom is rock stable for average users. We are working on it daily to fill the missing parts.
    Now what is PACman? The idea was to remove the need for a hunt of rom and cure flasholicsm by providing everything xda has in rom development in a single bloat free rock stable rom. This is the FIRST rom of its kind with a hybrid framework consisting on cm10.1, AOKP and AOSPA. What makes PACman unique is this perfect blend of all of these. Be informed PACman is not a "git cherry-pick blahblah yeee i am a dev donatezzz me" rom. It took a LOT of work of thinking behind to merge the frameworks in the right order.

    First Install From a base CM 10 A4 or A5 only !!!

    - Wipe data factory reset
    - Mounts and Storage > Format /System
    - Flash PACman
    - Wip Cache and Dalvik Cache

    IMPORTANT! READ BEFORE FLASHING THIS RELEASE!
    1. This ROM will wipe data due to different partitioning. The device would reboot while flashing and resume again.
    2. Once on this ROM, the most effective way of going back to any other ROM would be to repartition from Odin.
    3. While converting the filesystem, your efs that has your IMEI is backed up to /emmc/backup/efs. Keep a backup on your PC just in case.
    4. Incase if you don't get a network signal, check if your IMEI and Baseband are proper. If not, go back to stock and try again.
    5. Do NOT use Odin to flash Modems. Due to different partitions, Odin will screw up your existing MTD setup.

    • PAPrefs is currently experiencing issues with hdpi devices, this has been reported to the PA team. Check this post for the workaround.
    • Some functions of Rom Control do not work, one example is Signal/WiFi custom colours.

    PIE FAQ

    Q. What is PIE?
    A. PIE is a new way to interact with your notifications. It provides easy gesture based interaction with all your system information without taking up valuable screen space. PIE is what you see in this image.

    Q. How do I access Pie?
    A. Swipe your finger from the pie gravity edge (default is the bottom) toward the center of your screen. While keeping your finger on the screen, drag your finger to the desired button and release to click.

    Q. My PIE doesn't look like the ones in the screenshots. I don't see the Clock or notifications.
    A. Notifications work either through the status bar or PIE. If the status bar is enabled, PIE reverts to just the softkeys. To enable the full PIE experience, enable Expanded Desktop by going to Settings -> System -> Power Menu -> Expanded Desktop (Status bar hidden). Access the power menu and turn Expanded Desktop on.

    Q. How do I change PIE colors?
    A. Go to Settings -> Hybrid Properties -> Interface and change the Navigation bar color.

    Q. Buttons or keyboard rows near the edge of my screen are nonresponsive.
    A. PIE's trigger area overlay is covering the edge of your screen. Change either the Trigger Area or Pie Gravity in Settings -> System -> PIE Settings.

    Q. I don't like PIE, how do I turn it off?
    A. To disable PIE set Trigger Area to None in Settings -> System -> Pie Settings. Remember to disable Expanded Desktop to turn status bar on again.

    ROM FAQ

    Q.Do I need to do a full wipe before installing this ROM?
    A. Unless coming from a previous version of PACman it is highly recommended to do a full wipe before installing. This includes coming from ParanoidAndroid ROMs.

    Q.What do the settings in Hybrid Properties do?
    A. ParanoidAndroid has an extensive guide to the settings at this thread: [GUIDE][PARANOIDANDROID] A Complete Compendium on ParanoidPreferences [PA-Settings] Please do not post questions related to PA Settings in this thread, they are not ROM specific and all we'll do is point you to that thread.

    Q.How do I turn on the Navigation Bar??
    A.To enable the NavBar open Hybrid Properties, swipe the screen to the right to peek through to the menu.
    Select Interface, now set your desired NavBar size with the slider.

    Q.Something isn't working. What do I do?
    A. First, make sure you are running the latest stable version. For i9100 users, try using the latest Dorimax kernel, for i777 users stick with the CM kernel provided. That should solve half the problems. If it persists, backup data using Titanium and do a full wipe reinstall. If the problem persists, report what it is and what triggers it so the dev can duplicate it.
