I just flashed the latest nightly, and there's not other keyboard than the Chinese one. Some time ago Google keyboard came in the Rom, but some nightlys isn't there any more.

Who would have known, I don't use Mokee anymore. They are probably trying to force people into using their infected keyboard app.

Cant i replace the keyboard with swiftkey?

Yes, just copy the swiftkey apk file to the folder I mentioned previously before flashing the zip file. I don't know how much space swiftkey takes, so I'd be mindful of that, just in case it takes too much space on the /system partition.

it's quite easy to modify zip (use 7-zip, winrar pro also worked for me but not recommended)
1. delete: iFlyIME.apk, Notepad.apk, MoKeeMarket.apk, MoKeeHelper.apk
2. download gapps by TJKV for cm10.2 only, and extract latinime.apk (from apps) and libjni_latinimegoogle.so (from lib).
3. copy these to system and lib of mokee zip (just drag n drop)
4. flash the modified zip and gapps(not the downloaded cm10.2 only but the gapps by TJKV for other roms)

Slim 4.3 is more stable, gives more battery life and is smooth and fast even with 100 apps installed. I feel it is smoother than CM7, though i'm having a Defy+. But not everyone's phones and needs are the same.

Would you provide a link, i did not find slim 4.3 through the forum search.

I don't has the same experience with Slim. In fact I've been "forced" to use Mokee because the latest Slim become awkward: some apps like office refuse to open documents and system has become sluggish. Regarding battery life:; with Slim and minimal usage ~2 days and with Mokee and the same minimal usage ~4 days. I've delete all Chinese apps and replace the keyboard and 'till now all seems OK.

Good morning,

I once had a GAPPS. done zip.

I use this with a basic installtion of the very good reason Mokee system.

This installs a few things like working KITKAT Launcher, Clock, Hangout, boot animation, fonts, etc. of the other Gapps from JELLYBEAN.

and Mokee system for me to uninstall unnecessary apps. As virtual wallpaper, MokeeHelper, MokeeLauncher etc.

For me it works great!
but of course I do not guarantee.

there are a lot of gapps from Google are then installed in / data / Gapps and not burden the system partition.

GPS still searching for satellites

Hi,

first of all, I really enjoy my freshly installed MokeeOS on my Defy+. But there seems to be some problem with GPS functionality. I have this in notification bar "GPS searching for satellites". And it's here until I turn off GPS. Is there some solution to this bug? Thanks

I also discovered another bug, screenshot functionality is not working. It will take screenshot, but when it tries to save it, error message is showed. And there is problem with permission to save screenshot image

1. Does the zip file you've shared at google drive include ' gapps ' & this is installed over or standalone ?

2. Can you post some pictures of the UI on the device ?

error: mokee setup wizard has stopped working

hello. I have motorla defy mb525 green lens

I was using rc-1 mokee dated 4th october uptill now. [some camera freeze issues but it was no big deal so i didn't install new versions although it was reported having been corrected in subsequent versions.]

I tried latest nightly dated 17th november but after full wipe/cache wipe and installing rom+gappsminimal ]when starting for first time after selecting language next step is select location settings when i hit next here it gives error "mokee setup wizrd has stopped working" then it goes back to language selection and back and forth...i cant go further. so i reverted back with nandroid backup.

only changes i made in zip file is i deleted live wallpapers/mokee market/mokee notepad/ifly keyboard/videos [i did the same in the version that i was using previously]

so my question is..

1. am i doing something wrong?
2. or its rom problem
3. any solution? which version are you using thats working good?

edit: never mind i found solution by re-reading older posts ...in latest nightly google ime keyboard is not present [unlike older rc1] so if i delete ifly i dont have any keyboard so i cant go further in moke wizard and it crashes. keeping this post so others wont make same mistake.

Don't know because I try to flash it from recovery and the result was that recovery was erased and I had to reinstall from scratch (with sbf flash...)
Anyway how can be insert HWA settings in this ROM?

i was having some problem as mentioned in 2 posts above but i found solution...now i was playing with rom...and while restoring app and data from titanium backup i got boot loops so i wiped and factory reset device then again tried with just app and not system data...but again something went wrong and stuck in boot loop so i factory wiped cache etc and reinstalled nightly dated 11th nov. and tried restoring app+systemdata from titanium backup it was successful and it asked me to reboot.

when i tried reboot i cant get past boot logo it wont even go to the point when blue led flashes and i can enter recovery.

I have green lens motorola defy mb525 i installed mokee and used successfully for 3-4 months, in past i have also used slimbean and cm7 never had similar problem. I have installed all above roms on default froyo kernel.

please advice me what to do.

Something similar happened to me a while ago.
1. If you can't get into recovery - try removing the battery & re-inserting after 10 mins.
2. If that too does not work then flash the SBF again via Bootloader & root again.

3. I think you're Titanium backup should still be there(but check forums) & restore App data selectively from there
OR start afresh.

just convert google play into system app. you can use link2sd to do that.

Don't do that, it won't work:

just convert google play into system app. you can use link2sd to do that.

OK, thanks for helping.
Reflashing the minimal gapps ZIP solved this issue.
But why should i consider converting, since every ZIP i flash will be system APP. I uninstalled and reinstalled via TB earlier, no changes. Only the zipflash did it.
