Hi all,

I would to try this ROM but when I go the the download link in the first post I get redirected to this website:

The page just has names of developers which you can click.

I also tried going to the P.A.C website ant it also takes me to this page

Any help appreciated

Hi,

I just wanted to start by saying thanks for releasing these roms.

I just flash the latest nightly on a clean wipe, and it has a mass of errors saying "Unfortunately (multiple app names) has stopped. Blame the Split Screen."

Is anyone else having these problems? And is there a simple fix?

Hi All,

PAC-ROM used to be amazing in the JellyBean 4.3.x days.... When it moved to 4.4.x, it kinda lost its way, and its feature set!!!

And now today, it's sad to say... it looks like its completely over for us guys!!! (Unless a talented Dev is willing to take over).

I've watched over the last few months, how this ROM had no updates at for our device, and sad to say today.... It looks like they've completely removed us from their supported list.... so no more PAC for N7000 unless we can find someone who is willing and happy to see us move forward again!!!

Seems all the N7000 roms are dying lately.... C-ROM, Sonic-Developers, and now PAC.....

I don't think devs and Roms are leaving us , they are always with us.
Sokp team was gone because lack of our donation supports. But other teams not.
New roms are coming out like SPIRIT . Omini＋.
All the roms are developing its own features and update often.

PAC 4.3.1 for me, offered far more features and imho looked the best laid out and presented....

Nope, can't find our N7000 when you click the [blue banner or supported devices] and if you select the [N7000] in the list below that.... Then there are no firmwares available in either Nightly or Released.

Maybe fine a few days ago, but as discovered last night... There is nowt for our device anymore... Not even older firmware...

* Yeah, it was sad that SOKP lacked donations / funds, as it was really starting to be something... Prolly one of the best roms out there, offering so much choice!!! But alas, they have gone... Hopefully some of them still visit here from time to time and may come back... Especially with Android 5 just around the corner....

But yes, always good to see developer input for our devices, with the likes of Spirit, ReVolt and others showing up.... I understand and appreciate that Devs must move up to the later hardware too, and naturally focus their efforts more on newer kit, than looking after the old...

Sorry , I am on SOKP now.
I like hybrid feature of PAC but it was gone in 4.4.4 .
So I am waiting for the new exciting features of PAC.

I always use phiz recovery and know little about Bauner kernel.

Hi All,

Yeah, I love this rom and the AOSB 1.3.7.....

The only downer, is that the rom is Chinese based... So you have to change the language, the Keyboard is Voice Activated, so you can't type anything. So words it doesnt know, you've got no chance entering...

Credits to MoonLight, he has built and compiled some amazing roms, and AOSB would be my daily default.... but at present, due to non-english based, not reliable enough for me yet...

语言 means language.

Thank you kindly for getting back to me, and for offering your support... It is much appreciated, thank you...

Yeah, I had found out how to change the language during rom setup... (I basically kept scrolling in either direction, until I saw the word English and then the rom was in English).

But it was the Keyboard's that caused issues I think. There was something that went wrong with the AOSB 1.3.7 rom (my fav, every feature you could want). Can't remember what the main problem was, but could only use it for about couple of days, before ran into more problems.

As the Keyboards used in both PAC and AOSB used [Voice Input] only, and if you clicked on the Keyboard keys, the typing keyboard failed to load. So meant you couldn't login during the installation. I had to skip it all, thankfully had a Google Keyboard APK on my SD card, which I installed and then switched too. Removed the original [Voice] included keyboard. And seems to be ok, but missed some settings during Install...

I'm trying to find a way to edit and re-pack the roms to be English by default, even if its for my own personal use rather than uploading/sharing. As I respect the original rom developers (Moonlight) and don't wish to take credit away from his great work...
