I can confirm there's no issue with the kernel anyway. I had the "Unofficial Pac Man 4.3" rom installed and didn't feel like wiping, so I flashed just the new kernel. Runs great - smooth as hell, and the new frequency seems stable. Also the voltage control is perfect now. Thanks again humberos!

What device model?
Did you wipe cache and system before install?

Wipe dalvik cache, wipe cache, format /system, install zip from sdcard, wipe dalvik cache, wipe cache, reboot.
Hard reboot, hard reboot, bootloop.

Device model N8000.

EDIT:
Wipe dalvik cache, wipe cache, Factory reset, format /system, format /preload, format /sdcard, flash 20130920 @humberos, wipe dalvik cache, wipe cache, reboot.. cyanogenaccount stop, system stop.

I am using N8000 without these issues. I came from the build from the 17th - wipe cache, wipe dalvik cache, flash 20th build, reboot, no problems.

As you have done factory reset and lots of formatting you will need to flash gapps after flashing cm too. I think there is a link for it in op.

Edit: nope. Find gapps here http://goo.im/gapps

You want the top one for cm10.2, android 4.3.

build 20 Sept works great :) for me.

This is ROM runs on mine N-8000 , @1704 MHz without problems.

when I use a stock ROM' with a over clock kernel, my device crashed @ 1600> MHz.

Official CM or Humber?

I have been reading about the commercialization of CM lately and I am wondering will Humber be able to continue with CM if they do indeed go commercial. I will likely never buy a commercial CM for my tablet, the idea was to not have to pay for it. So I am wondering if I should just switch to HumberOS and be done with the Official CM.

The Camera is still not fixed, however it seems they finally have managed to fix the Netflix. Has Humber fixed the Camera issue yet on the N8013?

Would it be possible to get updates to work properly in the OS itself? Not that it works, because I have the assert issue with my device.

In any case I was wondering what other people are thinking, and if I should make the final switch to Humber and be done with the CM Official Build totally.

By the way I have used HumberOS in the past, and honestly I think it is quite nice, but I actually thought CM would work on the issues with my device faster, but it would appear that HumberOS is moving along faster, even if his nightlies do not actually come out nightly.

Thank you Humber for your hard work, and those of us who are using our devices surely appreciate your hard work.

Cyanogen Inc. It seems like a fork of epic proportions is in order. Capitalism strikes again eh?

CyanogenMod is a free, community built, aftermarket firmware distribution of Android, which is designed to increase performance and reliability over stock Android for your device.

    Code:
    #include
    /*
     * Your warranty is now void.
     *
     * I am not responsible for bricked devices, dead SD cards,
     * thermonuclear war, or you getting fired because the alarm app failed. Please
     * do some research if you have any concerns about features included in this ROM
     * before flashing it! YOU are choosing to make these modifications, and if
     * you point the finger at me for messing up your device, I will laugh at you.
     */
CyanogenMod is based on the Android Open Source Project with extra contributions from many people within the Android community. It can be used without any need to have any Google application installed. Linked below is a package that has come from another Android project that restore the Google parts. CyanogenMod does still include various hardware-specific code, which is also slowly being open-sourced anyway.

All the source code for CyanogenMod is available in the CyanogenMod Github repo. And if you would like to contribute to CyanogenMod, please visit out Gerrit Code Review. You can also view the Changelog for a full list of changes & features.

What are Nightly builds? Auto compiled builds of the latest CyanogenMod source from github. This version change each night and aren't officialy supported. If you find bugs/issues you can/must discuss here (do not submit nightlies bug on CyanogenMod issue tracker).:cowboy:

My builds uses all official CyanogenMod sources except the kernel. But I am merging it with all fixes/features from CM kernel repo, Google and kernel.org mainline too.

    Q&A thread
Please read before posting or reporting bugs!:cowboy:

    Reporting Bugs
Before reporting a bug, please make sure you are running as stock as possible. This means no custom kernel, no custom framework modification, etc. If you are using any of the above modifications, please flash the rom again to get rid of the modifications before reporting.

Please read the thread for known issues before reporting.

Grab a logcat right after the problem has occurred. (Please include at least a few pages of the log, not just the last few lines, unless you know what you're doing.)
Remember to provide as much info as possible. The more info you provide, the more likely that the bug will be solved. The following is a useful format to follow.
    Code:
    What is your--
      Tablet model:
      Radio (baseband):
      CM version:
      CM Download url:
      Gapps version:

    Did you--
      wipe:
      restore with titanium backup:
      reboot after having the issue:
    ----------------------------------------------------
    Are you using--
      a task killer:
      a non-stock kernel:

Downloading! Nice work man. I saw that the 801X folder just got a new build, is the 8000 also being updated? If thats the case I hold of on flashing the 130821 build.
Thanks for all your hard work.

    Uploading N8000 right now.

Wait what, am I missing something? This ROM has HALO?

Yes. We have HALO and old tablet UI ported to 4.3.

    Enjoy it!
