I get this error AOSP keyboard has stopped working, Blame Tyler.
Also the back button does not work half the time.

Edit : BTW, it is also using the faux123 kernel from grouper and an unofficial build of CM 10.2. It has many animations, for opening and closing apps, navigation in menus, just like iOS 7

My only complain is when I lock the screen in horizontal mode, then unlock in vertical mode some weird glitch will happen

I got rid of that by toggling hide initial hints in lock screen options!

Use p.a. gapps, it installs Google keyboard instead of the aosp one, and it might help!

Any way to get rid of all the animations?

Also, I have a bug in 4.3. When I put an app to restore in TB, it takes ages and nothing happens. It gets stuck at the restoring screen.

There is a setting in dev options to set animations length or scale. Set it to disable.

TB is known not to work correctly with 4.3. Use helium local backup instead, worked with me.

TB works. u must change the backup location from "/emulated/0/TB" to /emulated/legacy/TB folder. This option is in preferences

The backups show up. The restore only takes forever.

TB does work. If it just sits at restoring the first app forever without actually restoring anything then Go to preferences->Backup Folder Location then hit the button detect. It will give u two options e backup location from /emulated/0/ and /emulated/legacy/
Select legacy and then restore.

It works normally without changing the location on pure STOCK ROMs

Would the OP consider a build to bring us uptodate, or as close to the other Nexus devices?

Read CM are pulling the changes to 4.4 so the last couple of N4 PAC nightlies have been broken but a build around then would keep us going while 4.4 sorts itself out :)

So it seems I completely missed the post about PAC being built for the tilly here...

Is there another thread for this build? I like to read up a little before flashing nightlys.

Ive been using the nightlies for a while now with no problems :)

Last updated around xmas I think and apart from the odd random reboot both N4 and N7 have been fine.

Only real 'bug' Ive found is one with the keyboard. If you select a correction from the white popup menu it FCs the app your running at the time. Its not a big deal really.

All the AOKP tweaks that Ive tried work fine and have had a long play with PAC and no problems there.

I flash both N4 and N7 at the same time so everythings consistent between the too as well :D

Anyone tried Kk 4.4.2 nightlies ?
Tired one on both N4 & N7 before sending N7 in for warranty.

Only had 10 mins on it before going back to last 4.3 nightly.

Nothing wrong with it, really smooth etc but lacking the modifications we saw with 4.3.

Not the devs fault obviously as its only just been released. Given time itll be back to the PAC we know and love :)

Ive found that keeping an eye on the N4 PAC forum useful as any bugs/new features etc always happen on the N7 (and others) but its a still really active forum.

Just wondering if anyone else is still using PAC on the tilapia?

Im still keeping my N4 and N7 in sync with 4.4.4 nightlies every fortnight or so and havnt had any major issues so far. Daily drivers for both.

Bar the odd SystemUI FC on firstboot its been fine. Fix is just to leave it on the lockscreen for a few minutes while it settles in.

I feel the N7 is getting slightly slower than it used to be pre 4.4.4 but it could just be me, still gets the job done though.

If you guys arent using PAC anymore, what have you switched to?
