Stable release 3.0 - 07/02/2013
As CM10.1 has hit the general release, Avatar Team is branching with stable and nightly releases.

Stable releases are marked as 3.0. This is the first stable release from Avatar Team. Stable releases will be weekly or bi-weekly and will be tested extensively by our testing team.

Nightly releases will kickstart in a few days. We will merge CM changes every day and it will also contain experimental features from Avatar.

We highly recommend to wipe cache/data/dalvik before flashing the stable releases.

  • Fixes in Theme chooser.

    • Grid size issue fixed across all devices and resolutions.

    • Fixed the issue with the transparent fade animation while going from Apps to Widgets.

    • New UI for editing rules.

I must say that I love my tw roms (sonic currently) but these are so tempting...let me know how you guys like this. I am a beautiful big theme lover and this looks like the shizzz.

I'm having an odd issue. Whenever I try to install this rom, I get stuck on the avatar boot screen (the orange one with the mask). I was first using shabbypenquin's CWM recovery. I wiped before flashing and also flashed kt's aosp kernel and the gapps in the op.

So I then wiped again and flashed back to a fresh freegs4 and everything booted up fine. I didn't restore any backups and tried flashing avatar again but I tried twrp 2.5.0.2 this time. Flashed gapps, and kt's aosp kernel. Same thing happened. Stuck on boot splash screen.

Anyone else having this issue? I also tried to a quick backup of the freegs4 rom and twrp said my data part was over 2870000 mb and wouldn't backup because there wasn't enough space on my sd card. I've never seen that before on any of my evo's using twrp.

Any help is greatly appreciated. I am flashing back to freegs4 in the meantime. I really want to give this rom a shot.

i had the same issue last night and gave up after 6 unsuccessful flashes. i tried with twrp .0.1 and .0.2 and different downloads from different pc's as well.

I believe you need mkasick's ClockworkMod Recovery to flash this rom.
