Stable release 3.0 - 07/02/2013
As CM10.1 has hit the general release, Avatar Team is branching with stable and nightly releases.

Stable releases are marked as 3.0. This is the first stable release from Avatar Team. Stable releases will be weekly or bi-weekly and will be tested extensively by our testing team.

Nightly releases will kickstart in a few days. We will merge CM changes every day and it will also contain experiemental features from Avatar.

We highly recommend to wipe cache/data/dalvik before flashing the stable releases.

    • A 4x3 weebo widget can be added in homescreen. It displays current location and recent actions taken by weebo. This list is updated whenever there is location change or any actions are performed by weebo.
    • Fix for change of location when network is not detected
    • Removed cell-Id display from recent events logs. Remove cell-Id entries from recent events list shown in weebo.
    • Changed location tracking time options from locations page. Put a "recommanded" text for 4 hours option and removed "5 minutes" tracking time.

My home button doesn't work. and i keep getting "Unfortunately android keyboard AOSP has stopped. can't seem to get the popup to stop happening either.

EDIT: Also, I keep getting "Avatar rom has detected a crash" message. It pretty much pops up every 5 seconds haha

started from a clean wipe

What kernel are you using ? Also can do a wipe on dalvik cache.

Would the inverted gapps work with this ROM? Also is it possible to remove extra panels from home screen?

In TouchWiz launcher, there is an option to add/remove pages (panels). In this ROM, there are 5 panels by default. Since I don't use all of them, I wanted to remove unused ones. As for the inverted apps, I'm referring to the ones posted by JusTunBeans in the Apps/Themes forum. It say there that you need JB 4.2+ so was just confirming if it worked with this too.

You have to do a reverse pinch to zoom to delete the panels. On the workspace, keep two fingers apart and bring them together.

Sorry its little difficult to explain. You can see this video to get an idea of what i am saying.

    Stable release 3.0 - 07/02/2013
    As CM10.1 has hit the general release, Avatar Team is branching with stable and nightly releases.

    Stable releases are marked as 3.0. This is the first stable release from Avatar Team. Stable releases will be weekly or bi-weekly and will be tested extensively by our testing team.

    Nightly releases will kickstart in a few days. We will merge CM changes every day and it will also contain experiemental features from Avatar.

    We highly recommend to wipe cache/data/dalvik before flashing the stable releases.

    We have upgraded the AvatarROM to 4.2.2 (CM10.1). Going forward we will maintain two branches

    1. Stable Release - CM10 - 4.1.2 (If you need a stable image)

    2. Beta Release - CM10.1 - 4.2.2 (If you ok to see a few random crashes)

    We have merged CM10.1 changes till yesterday (except HDR fix). Every week we will merge CM10.1 changes and as the CM10.1 gains stability, AvatarROM will also be stable.

    Latest theme editor

    Avatar Team is proud to present the second update for Theme Editor tool. Based on the feedback, we have added option to edit avatar themes directly from the tool. There is no need to extract the theme apk from phone, copy to desktop and edit it.
