I want to thank CyanogenMod and Team Hacksung for doing such an awesome job on getting AOSP on the Vibrant. This project would be nothing without their contributions.

Newest change logs are available at the AOKP site
  1. Make sure you're on the latest CWM
  2. MAKE A NANDROID
  3. Flash Team Hacksung's latest build
  4. wipe data/factory reset in recovery
  5. flash ROM
  6. flash Gapps
  7. reboot

Test builds: http://androtransfer.com/?developer=AOKP&folder=vibrantmtd

Known issues:
1) You will get a Status 7 error when flashing. It should reboot and be fine. It is caused due to an updater-script for CM that we are using that has features AOKP does not utilize. It will be fixed in later builds.

I was able to get past the status seven error by flashing glitch. Oh and by the way this from lags a lot. I don't know if it was just a bad flash or what

sixstringsg, mind if i ask how you did this? i followed ProTekk's tutorial at rootzwiki and it looked like there's only AOSP roms available for compiling right now (or as of saturday). did you just manually add the ICS vibrant files with the JB base? i'm very new to this, but find it fun to figure out and learn. i'd love any advice you might have. thanks!

if its anything like the CM10 roms, you may need to give it a little time to settle. laggyness will remain, but it does get better. i haven't tried yet (just downloaded), but you might also try a JB devil kernel. battery life is nothing to write home about, but it's pretty smooth and might work with this. no idea really...

Yeah I know I tried it with devil kernel 1.0.4 but it was still the same either way its amazing work considering that this is a three year old phone. Thank AOKP team

Sorry there haven't been updates, I promise I'm not abandoning you. I have a lot of other projects on my plate at the moment for various android things, so I haven't had time to get this fixed up yet. Thanks for being patient.
No problem:D we have things to keep us busy

Any news on how any things coming?
They're working on a non-nightly JB Build #1, which is briefly mentioned here:

"The State of AOKP" from Just_Reboot:
http://aokp.co/site/index.php?/topic/452-the-state-of-aokp/page__pid__3421#entry3421

... a ‘build’ is coming. We’re getting very close to an official, non-nightly JB build. Just throwing that out there with no ETA to let you know that it is a real thing that will happen, pretty soon ...

do we use the ICS Gapps for this Rom?
Im pretty sure you need to use JB gapps. Go to the link that sixstringsg posted (the androtransfer one) and at the top there should be a bunch of dev names. One should say gapps. Click gapps and it should list a whole bunch of different gapps for different android os's. Click the JB one.
