Preface:

I'm surprising and happy to see JB port to Legend here.
Legend is my 1st Android phone, I like it very much even I'm not using it now.
I simply port a AOKP rom to Legend for fun. And now I want to share fun with you guys.

Features:

• Based on Zeubea's CM10 Unofficial Beta1
• AOKP features merged
• Build-in App/Data to SD-EXT script -----*1
  (Script only continue if mmcblk0p2 exists)
• Build-in Swap Partition script -----*2
  (Script only continue if mmcblk0p3 exists)
• Build-in V6Superchager -----*3
• AIO tweaks included
  (You don't need to do anything, just enjoy using the phone)
• 64mb zram as default + swap partition
• Build-in AC!D Audio Engine v5 with Noozxoide EIZO-rewire PRO
• Removed some bloatwares & useless libs
  (You can flash these back if you need)
• Xperia Keyboard with gesture input ported
  (You can revert to LatinIME by flashing the additional packs)
• Miui Camera ported with QuickPic pre-installed
  (You can revert to Gallery2 by flashing the additional packs)
• Apex Launcher as default which located in /data/app
  (You can revert to Trebuchet Launcher by flashing the additional packs.
  For other launchers, simply download from Play Store and uninstall Apex as normal app)
• Google Play Store 4.1.10 included
• Used Sammy font pack to free more system space
• koush's Superuser included (Open source)

-----*1... App/Data script came from AMARULLZ (the BEST a2sd script I think) and modified by me to make it works in JB.
-----------It will run automatically if the 2nd partition of SD card is created and in EXT3/4 format.
-----------The script will keep system app data and dalvik cache in internal memory.
-----------System apk, user apk and user app data will move to sd-ext.

-----*2... Swap Partition script will run automatically if the 3rd partition of SD card is created and should be in linux swap format.

-----*3... Supercharged services.jar and included V6Supercharger script, Engine Flush enabled (Detail every 2 hours).
-----------All done, you don't need to do anything about it.

Issues:

• Same as zeubea's CM10, you need to change "keep Wifi on during sleep" from "Never" to "Always".
  (Or use some wifi manage apps like Better Wifi On/Off)
• USB/Wifi Tether (Native wifi work on adhoc mode)
  (You can try TrevE's WifiTether MOD)

Preparation:

• Unlocked or S-OFF Legend phone
• Format SD card into 3 partitions (fat32 / ext4 / linux swap)
  (Easy to do it via MiniTool Partition Wizard, 128~256mb is recommended for linux swap partition)
• Copy AOKP-4.1.2-Unofficial-Legend-SFMT-rXX-signed.zip and additional packs to SD card

Installation:

• Full wipe
• Flash AOKP-4.1.2-Unofficial-Legend-SFMT-rXX-signed.zip
• Flash Additional Packs (Optional, you MUST flash them before rebooting system) -----*4
• Flash CrossBreeder Mod (Optional, but it's the ONLY recommended Mod for this rom)
• Reboot system and be patient (It may take 5-10mins to activate the ad2sd script)
• Have a cup of milk tea (sugar free? or me? )
• After 1st boot, wait 1~2mins then reboot again for fully working of ad2sd script
• After 2nd boot, finish the SetupWizard and go to System Settings
  => Sound => Volumes => Untick Link volumes and adjust all bars once to activate all sounds
  => Back to Sound panel and choose Noozxoide in Music effects
• All done and see the LEGEND continues......

SFMT-Trebuchet-signed.zip will delete Apex launcher
SFMT-Gallery2-signed.zip will delete Miui Camera & QuickPic
SFMT-LatinIME-signed.zip will delete Xperia Keyboard
SFMT-Pre-Installer.zip is for you to install app before 1st boot
(Open it with 7-Zip or WinRAR, copy apks to /data/app then flash it like the additional packs)

Tip:

• It may not have enough space in system partition if you flash all additional packs. So make your choices.
• Please be patient after every boot.
• If you want to wipe dalvik-cache, type the following commands in terminal:
  

  su
  sclean

• If you can't finish the installation of Crossbreeder Mod, remove battery and put it back. Then boot to recovery and flash Crossbreeder zip again.
  (This issue may occur in all devices randomly, not only our Legend.)

Sd card is mounting for me. Try to reflash the rom or format your sd card and create new ext3 partition.

Tried formatting sdcard. Din not work.
It eats battery too fast. Will reflash the rom if battery consumption will be reduced.

Try SD Formatter to format sdcard correctly, then do partition with MiniTool Partition Wizard.

E is not 3G. E is EDGE.
EDGE is 2G.

EDGE is very, very, very, very, very slow. I've noticed in Canada that Legend 3G is ~7mbps download and ~3mbps upload. In Vietnam, I noticed that EDGE is around ~0.06mbps download on a very good day (still great for downloading text, maps, the occasional app), and ~0.01mbps upload.

Where are you? Where did you buy your Legend? What carrier are you on?
If you bought your Legend in North America, and you're using it in Asia/Europe, or the reverse circumstance is true, then unfortunately the HTC Legend isn't compatible for 3G between the continents mentioned.

If this isn't the case, perhaps you're in an area where 3G coverage is spotty or non-existent. Try enjoying 3G in a city or other urban area.

Your goal is for the status bar to appear "H" or "3G". "E" or "G" (as in GPRS) is not at all favourable.

But here's the problem, you can only run the phone's 3G frequencies in Canada and the United States. All newer phones starting with HTC Sensation could go beyond this limit, and could work worldwide (with the obvious exceptions being the inability to run on CDMA and AWS). Canada's HTC Legend uses frequencies 850 and 1900. Viettel/Vinaphone/Mobiphone and ALL OTHER CARRIERS in Europe and Asia use 900/1800/2100. Since the 1800 is common and shared, you only get EDGE 2G, and voice calling, and text messages.

1) Return your phone, get a refund if you can

or

2) Sell your phone, buy a newer one. Be sure to consult the list of frequencies

or

3) I searched for MiFi in Vietnam when I was visiting in 2011, and used http://usb3gvn.com/ to find a MiFi hotspot. Carry that around in your back pocket like a wireless router and you have 3G whereever you go, your Legend will simply use the less power consuming wireless radio. Also, if you buy a SIM card with
"khyuen mai" which sometimes includes 4-35 GB of free 3G data per month, something Canadians can only dream of from a wireless company. Also, if you've noticed, the 3G network isn't as congested in Vietnam as anywhere else in the world, so you'll likely get maximum speeds like I did. This is the best option to consider.

I tried two SD

After the partition with MiniTool
error E:can't mount /SDcard/

Last time I used mini tools the default setting was to create a logical partition, which I didn't initially notice hence it wouldn't work till I checked it and discovered the error, re did it as a primary partition and all was well.

I installed this ROM onmy Legend, but I have serious problems: The flash (CWM 5.0: factory reset, ROM, CrossBreederMod) is successful, but either the phone stucks in the bootloop or the phone is crashing while or shortly after configuration. Restarting the hone after that leads to the bootloop, too.

Do you have any suggestions? I'm looknig forward to your reply.

I am in the same condition, I have the same problems

first start, everything ok
second start with the first configuration, everything ok
third start ... bootloop on the splash screen
... full wipe and reboot ... bootloop after startup applications

on the issue of SD mine was just a personal doub


I ask for help from someone more experienced
