A few questions;

Does the walkman button work in this version for Live With Walkman? Under the NOT WORKING section it mentioned Camera, Stereo and Navigation Menu, was curious about the walkman button?

Also, for the stereo; will this fix work on this ROM as well? http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=24921980&postcount=34 The poster says he got it working on CM7 nightly where it was not working initially, so might this work on this ROM as well?

Lastly, I wanted to know what the 'Navigation bar menu in ROM Control' not working meant? Where does this Navigation Bar come into use normally? Or, what is ROM control? (Sorry if this is a silly question, I just couldn't understand where it comes into play even on stable ROMs)

Walkman button works, it can launch some music players.
This fix won't work, as any libs from GB/ICS won't work with JB. I'll probably fix it in next release.
Read first post carefully. Read AOKP FAQ and what is AOKP. Navigation bar menu can enable on screen navigation buttons (back, menu, home, etc.) in phones that have physical buttons and modify it on phones that have it by default (Galaxy Nexus). You can switch buttons, add shortcuts for apps, change icons and color.

Thanks for the clarification! Can't wait till the next release, then. :) will flash the ROM once that is fixed :D I use my speakers often, love the stereo speakers. :)

It's build of KangXperiaProject. We are using sources from FXP team and AOKP team. Everything that we have modified to get it working is on our GitHub organization repos - https://github.com/KangXperiaProject
Is there any problem with it?
No, there is no problem.
Just that what you describe is still a port of AOKP to a new platform.
But if you want to call it a build, then it is up to you.

maybe i'm wrong, but what i understand is a port is binary rom for a particular device modified to make it works with other device, while this is fully built rom from source, so its a build, an unofficial build. same as fxp's cm is unofficial cm build this is unofficial aokp build.

Whatever man...

Does it rerally matter if it's called a BUILD or a PORT??? The devs have already said that they are using the FXP sources as well as the AOSP sources, and incorporating necessary addition to make it work on our devices.

All I know is that this is an awesome ROM, very fast without any sony crap.

As far as I'm concerned AOKP and CM are the only original development for our devices, and I would say AOKP is way better in terms of memory management, extra features and all. And that's a personal opinion, please don't make a fuss out of it.

Well, we're both right hnl. Build or port are only words. Most important for me is that it works
New builds replaced old ones, I think I'm gonna make future updates in smaller size, OTA only.
And if you've found any bug, you have any feature request - please, report here. I'm thinking about adding Xperia Menu to ROM Control - what do you think about it and what features it should have? Of course Xperia-related only.

Hi pikpok, whatever you do, please don't add Timescape, it slows down the device like anything... And even if you add them, just make it optional...

BTW adding to ROM control sounds like a good idea, gives users an option to opt out....
