Hello everyone..

Big thanks to the entire CM10 Team for their work up till now and beyond.

I've just managed to change the layout values and recompiled the latest CM10 ROM (Update 20th August 2012) because I was frustrated as much as you are with regards to the lockscreen alignment till date and did not feel like bugging the dev team of Cyanogen Mod.

Alright friends, here is the link for my work.....Flash it in CWM Recovery...***wipe cache and dalvik cache only after installation***

Thank you for your hardwork Team CM10 :good::)

Hit the thanks button if you liked my effort !!

Have a blessed day.

i tested it...it deleted camera app....and google now logo came up only half. but yes, it centers and fixed the alignment. I had to flash cm10 again to get everything back to normal again.

Every application is working for me as normal....I forgot to mention wipe cache and dalvik cache only after installation...NO FORMAT NEEDED :D

PS: Tested it several times on my N7000....all cool here

Its a pain in the azz to decompile, edit keyguard.xmls and recompile the whole framework.res with zero issues.....trust me....thats the reason why I did not release a patch over CM10 and re-released the entire ROM
ok thanks bro .
and for lock it is possible edit and the ring is a little too high to adjust how much should be put in values so that it is a low? in keuguard unelock.xml in layout :)

I tried again three times...as instructed. The result came out the same. Only half of google now logo came. one out of three tries deleted camera apk....the other time, it says no external sd install and stuck there.
Follow the instructions in OP and most importantly wipe both cache and dalvik cache.....FYI no one else is having this issue.

ok thanks bro .

The ring is correct placed in 320 dpi which is default....please don't edit build.prop and chose a different dpi as CM10 doesn't support it officially and weird **** is gonna happen which I don't support either :silly:

These changes have to be made per ROM. I have made also found and made the same changes to the ROM in my signature. This will not fix all ROM's!

@Moose0704 Thats exactly what I meant in my previous post. The layout differs with the ROM that you have installed and so does the DPI.

For the moment, I will stick with CM10 enhancements only as they are the most stable.

Anyways, thanks for the screenies! :D
