Geez, really fighting d-h.st, since about an hour that service really tries to tell me, it doesnt like my Note. Either download doesnt start, or loads a couple megs or finishes like 80% and then stalls. Any mirrors, I dare to ask...?

If I may suggest a better workaround -

Install any Download Manager - DAP, IDM etc
I recommend Free Download Manager.

Now, click on the download link through your browser. Let the download begin via browser only.

After 10-20 secs, cancel the download. Now open the Downloads window option in your browser.

You will see your cancelled download with the actual hot link with it.

Copy that link and paste it in your download manager and start downloading.

...was already looking at download managers. Decision fell on uuhm... what's its name? Don't care anymore, am at home and downloading now on the pc.
As usual, will report back any findings which may or may not be related to this specific build and not CM10 in general.

Unfortunately, neither method worked. Tried with three different JB kernels, and even Abysskernel, for Method 1.

About Method 2, ended up with "missing symlinks" msg, followed by Status 7 error.
Anything else I can try? Am currently on your 'V1' (the one prior to V2).

Yes. Unless I'm much mistaken Status 7 error means you've got a bad download.

Download MD5 Checker and compare your MD5 sum to the one given in the OP.

The fact that you have downloaded the file twice means nothing.

In was a note to utacka thats a file in the cm10 source.

Thanks a ton! It worked. Interestingly, the first two downloads were done on the phone itself (via Dolphin). The third download, which installed without a hitch, was done on a laptop and then transferred over.

You cannot edit the boots.XML file without first decompiling it. Else it'll show just junk

Thank you very much! I've tried all other JB builds and yours is the first JB I want to stay with using my loved tablet mode. Everything is working, all toggles are there and work, perfect!

Im not gonna edit framework files, beside that is a perfect guide for you to modify yourself

Edit: I changed my mind, i will look into it! Probably will come on next nightly. The reason is its so much sexier when its centered

They are Heavier because they are based on a different version of Android (in this case CM10 is 4.1.1 Jelly Bean)
