This is great - thanks zeubea. I was actually looking into JB for my SGS2 - but found this, so thought I'd crank up the Legend and play. Looks promising. Only problem I've found so far is that web browsing is really slow, and the links on a page aren't clickable until the page completely finishes loading - which can mean quite a wait.
I just stop loading and then links are available.

Browsing is slow if compared with SGS2, yes, but not much more than froyo. For a Q1 2010 device I think it is a great deal browsing with Android 4.2.1.

I got a question, apperantly my htc legend is boot locked, i tryd using htcdev, but it wont let me do it (the ruu claims my phone can't be upgraded) would like for any idea please :) (if could get a proper manual i would be very pleased :))

oh and btw, the one who asked if photosphere can work, it can't it is essential to have gyroscope, witch got to devices only later on (even my "stronger" SGS can't use it since it hasn't got the gyro as well... sad...)

This is another amazing rom from Zeubea. Great effort Thank you. IMHO better than 4.1. There appears to be no Development or Performance options in Settings but this will no doubt be looked at beyond the base port. I downloaded a basic overclocker "Quick CPU Overclock" from the market and I also had to reinstall Spare Parts to get access to the window scaling and animations. Lsink2sd is working you just need to free some space in System/Apps by deleting non-essential APKs. I have no battery issues and this will now be my daily.

After installation, I like it already - not bad. Do you have a problem with the coverage?. When I send a sms is hard witch coverage but when dialing is ok.

Thank You for Your work
Donated a few cents

My wish - contacts database speedup (17000+ contacts) - possibly possibility for moving them from internal storage to much more faster sdcard

Anyway - good work, thanks!!!

Why do you have 17000 contacts?!

Sent from my GT-I9000 using xda app-developers app

If you tap for 7 times on data build, development and performance options will appear.
On my Legend, it was "Build number" that had to be clicked 7 times - but thanks, as your post got me to the general area. As it was clicked, it said "you are now nn steps away from being a developer", until unlocking those elements. The Legend runs much more smoothly at 768MHz. Not sure I want to go all the way up to 806MHz though.

I agree Zeubea - and I in no way meant to detract from your excellent efforts. Now that I've found out how to unlock the developer & performance settings, I have set the CPU somewhat higher, and browsing is much faster anyway.

Google Talk

ROM is working just fine, but I have a problem with Google Talk.

I installed Alpha 3, wiped everything and installed gapps-jb-4.2.1-light-20121130-signed.zip

Talk does not show up in the list of applications. Is anyone else having this problem?

talk is simply not included in the light gapps :) try downloading it somewhere else/simply flash full gaps
Talk is included in the light gapps, in my case Talk didn't work because there wasn't enough free space on /system. After freeing up some space Talk works fine.

Another small problem is that I cannot use Google Calendar, it is not possible to add a calendar. After adding an account, the same Google account that I use for Gmail, Talk, etc, the calendar app says there are no Calanders for this account.
