Installation Instructions

A fresh installation is always recommended.

LOCKED Bootloader
If you are not on a rom based on .211 firmware, please select .211 kernel in AROMA.
Download the zip and save it in your SDcard.
Go to CWM and do the 3 wipes: data, cache and dalvik.
Flash the zip and choose the options you want in AROMA.
Let the ROM settle and reboot again to CWM.
Flash Fix Network to solve connectivity issues.
Reboot again and enjoy

Wanted to try this out but when it restarted wouldn't go past sony logo. Just had to use flashtool to reflash a stock firmware..
Will try again if i find the free time to go through entire process to root and install firmwares lol

Did you came from .211 firmware? Did you flash .211 kernel?

I don't owe Xperia ION so I need more information.

I had .211 and was running a ROM with the .96 xperia s thing.
Aroma stated I had .211 and I chose the AOSP version.
I did wipe everything before install also.
I chose random different options such as tabngrid things and nova luancher.
don't know why it doesn't work though mate

Did you choose the kernel in AROMA?

Try again please (without choosing the kernel), in the last screen of aroma it gives an option to save AROMA logs. Save them and upload here :highfive:

The ROM has 400 downloads, hasn't anybody managed to intall it? We tested it before releasing

I would bro but this is only phone I have that my micro sim can fit in and need it running haha.
I have some finals today and last time i went through the rooting process on this phone took me 2 hours :/.
Wednesday is earliest I can probably try again if no one else does for you
