How is it possible to check if my sensation lost camera drivers. Both front and rear don't open. Sometimes only blak screen with the buttons but suddenly returns to home and says impossible to start the camera. From the first time I installed the rom I was able to take only one photo and the next day black out. Can someone help me please? I like this Rom and don't want to change for nothing but I'd like to re-have my camera. Thanks in advance:banghead:

I had done all wipes except sdcard, for many many times, and I still got the camera FC problem which was found in 5.0.0. Anyone has any idea why is this happening?

Strangely enough, these last two days my apps are taking really long to open. To the point where I even get some force close messages.

In my case, it's doing this issue with all sense rom (vipers 5.1.0, 3.1.4 even Revelation 1.0.3)...But not with NoSense rom...

May be the RIL?

You can test your camera with *#*#3424#*#* ,there are meny more tests in this menu...
Edit: sorry it wont help you...I just saw what it is in the test...

You could check by entering these codes below into a terminal app and comparing with my screenshot of mine, as I have not messed with kernel, camera libs or flashed any camera mod.

uname -a

ls /system/lib/*camera*

ls /system/lib/hw/*camera*

Edit: I hope you checked the MD5 checksum before flashing the ROM too but if you didn't, check the MD5 of the ROM.zip you flashed on your SD card to see if it matches.
Edit: There are also other system files that the camera relies on too, so if you have modified your system, I'd start there and go over what you had removed/freezed.

not just both of u mate. im facing this problem too, everytime i open my camera, it forced to use the front camera. and i cant switch to main camera because there is no option on the camera setting.

If you definitely know it's not a user fault and you have done a complete install with a complete full wipe and you have also flashed a RUU to see that your hardware is fine, then you should upload all logs (use venom bug report tool in tweaks) so the devs have something to work with.

when I record a video its recording successfully .. but when I watch the recorded video the Sound disappear sometimes ine the middle of the video ... sometimes in the last ...

any solutions guys ?

hi there guys,

must say this is the best rom i've found for my sensation by far!
love the smoothness and the tweaks.
only got one problem, i just cant seem to sync the phone with my pc.
i use win 7 64, and the old software at first and later tryed with the newest software. My phone gets recognized by the PC, but i can only choose options like play media or connect as disk.
the sync software from HTC never seems to find the phone.
i do have the option activated in the phone to connect with HTC sync.
any suggestions anyone? would be very much obliged.

you don't need htc sync at all
htc is using MTP protocol in newer android versions
it means that you can have access in sdcard from pc and phone at the same time

I haven't experienced any problem like that but you can ask @ivicask maybe but post a bugreport.zip or logcat.txt as it'll be very useful to help you solve the problem you are facing :good:

+1! i also tried both htc sync and sync manager but my phone isn't detected running this rom.

Go to the rumrunner website and download the universal HTC device version and follow the instructions on the website. I tried on ARHD and it's not working, but it's working flawlessly with ViperS 5.1.0. Maybe it is something to do with kernel I don't really know.

I don't remember it clearly now, I helped my friend to s-off his phone with this method about half a year ago(BTW I s-offed mine with wire trick XD), so I can't recall if it will wipe data. But I recommend to do a full backup and try the procedures after a clean flash.

I don't know why nobody posted this information on xda. This was known a long time ago. Maybe after you succeeded you can write a tutorial in general section, I'm too lazy .

Worked for me. Did it yesterday. Now i am s-off. also one of my members on my htc sensation/xe/4g group on fb reports that this method also works even without sdcard.

A bit..atleast i think so. But i still get these moments when, if i turn off my phone, turn it on again, my screen just "freeze" (is unresponsive), that i can't unlock my phone. So i suppose it's digitizer problem?

As in my earlier post to you if the silver pin on back of phone is not connecting properly with the back cover contact (contacts shown in attachment), then the screen builds up static and can't ground which eventually damages your digitizer.
