Hello people!

First of all, congrats on great work!!


Second, since I'm a new one with this kind of stuff, and I want sense 5 rom on my htc device I have few question so if you can help me:

1.) I unlocked bootloader and it writes this:

***UNLOCKED***
VILLEC2 PVT SHIP S-ON RL
HBOOT-3.010000
RADIO-16.11.20.24_M
OpenDSP-V11.6.0.2235.00.0304
eMMC-BOOT

My first question is, what is S-ON and when I'm going to intall this rom is it okay to be S-ON or it have to be S-OFF??
If it has to be S-OFF, how do I do that?:/


2.) Can you give me download link for 4ext recovery and link for instructions how to install 4ext recovery??


3.) Does this ROM contains Stock kernel or some custom kernel?

Its simple. You got nothing much to customize in kernel. Mine i s1.72 ghz with KSM on. I will post benchmarking soon.

Nope. Only the feed HTC provides. May in near future m0narx will be able to if possible!

1- Here you will only find support for Sensation devices
2- For Sensation ROMs from viper it only contains SebastianFM's kernel only
3- S-ON is a security feature for protecting the bootloader , so the S-off devices will be able to flash boot.img within installation procedure , but if you have a S-On Device the only way to flash boot.img is by going into fastboot mode at your phone and install ADB and Fastboot environments on your windows machine beside your device's drivers , and from the folder that you have your boot.img you can write in command-promote " fastboot flash boot boot.img " and then "fastboot erase cache "

I think for this customization we would need sense 5.5.
If I remember right HTC implemented in new sense 5.5 both customization and option to disable blinkfeed from homescreen.

This rom has only one stock kernel for now. So no need for kernel confusion.

I dont even know if One S has an EXT4 recovery at all or even if it has an S-Off but since I have an S-On HTC One X ,I learned to live with an S-On device before getting my sensation

To experience more smoothness with this awesome ROM, do a selective install by removing goole search, now,... Keep just essential apps in aroma. :good:
