why debug.mdpcomp.maxlayer=3 and debug.mdpcomp.limit=1884160 are commented? which when i try it flicker the bootanimation. is it something wrong with that value? i see it was enabled in ViperS 3.

Sebastian implemented this to fix some issues as graphics glitches you mentioned, so dont touch anything, iv done 3 months of testing and switching libs around so many times, this is best combination for this port that works!

Guys, you incall volume okay? I can hear the caller, it's very quiet. This is observed only on the ViperS 5, Revelation, ViperS 3.1.*. Tried different radio and firmware, did not help. No one knows what causes it? I am using operator Life Ukraine (GSM, not 3G)

everything fine here. I got the impression that it's even slightly better compared to ViperS 3.1.x. So nothing to complain ...
What I recognized is that even my VOIP client of my FritzBox works well without delays for the first time in any JB rom. I'm really satisfied.

Both pmg58 and disabling fast dormancy didn't work...... I think i'm really the only one facing this problem!!

p.s. The problem is now much worse than before, it happens more frequently, how can i reabilitate fast dormancy?

Yeah I'm not sure what else could be the issue, have you tried another SIM card from the same carrier or even a carrier side issue maybe.

Hi, what is the name/author of your compass app?

There is no A2SD+ or anything in this ROM? Normally I am getting problems with space after installing all my apps, even when pushing to SD.
Just a plain FAT32 SD?

I use Mounts2SD and it works really well. Thread is linked in my signature if you want to check it out.

unfortunately, after applying the fixing patch and recilabration, compass still not work correctly.

Not much help but works fine here with Google maps after flashing the fix.

V4A and xHiFi working good on this ROM. The latest version v2.3.1.3 works very well. And good thing is even stock player works well with V4A.

The rom comes with 3 panels as default. You can add the panels by:

- If you have Prism home menu button support fix, you can click on menu and select add to home and you'll see the option of add panel
- If you don't, then you need to pinch to zoom on the screen and you'll see the screen where you can add panel.

Is there Persian keyboard for this ROM?
I can't understand way HTC don't make Persian(Farsi) keyboard, they make Arabic keyboard but not Persian.
The different between Arabic and Persian is 4 characters only. It's so easy to make it!
Google added Persian keyboard in android 4 and HTC remove it in every release!

Install xposed framework 2.3.1 from here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1574401 and then install one of the modules called Xposed Statusbar Mods 2.1.8 from here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2335241 and you'll find all the settings when you open xposed statusbar Mods app.

You can also go to ziaulh.ch brilliant organisational post where he has put together a list of xposed mods that work with Venom 5.

what drains battery so much is it blink feed??
i am using greenify almost all apps are hibernated except whatsapp and swiftkey.
please help with this.. overall rom performance is awsome.

I can't change contacts photos, selecting them from gallery, when WiFi is off. If I turn wifi on, then photo changes correctly. With 3g/hsdpa connection I can't change it.
And if I take photo for contact with camera (not selecting from gallery), then photo changes well.
I trying to change settings in contacts (something about loading big pictures with wifi or wifi+3g) - this not helped to me...

During a phone call when I have my phone near the ear (the screen is turned off) I can't hear anything and the person who I talk with can't hear me either. I have a logcat for this bug. In my opinion this is related with off screen CPU frequency. I had similar issue on Inspiration 1.0.1 (I know this is entirely different ROM but issue is very similar) after I reflshed the ROM with lower frequencies (exactly 192 Mhz) to save the battery (at the first installation I chose high value and Skype was running fine - it was around 1 Ghz off screen).

FC on clicking on running video recording in full HD photo button.. not observe in HD recoding...

I've read that many users complain about incoming calls volume. I experience a strange "feature" (?). When I talk with someone for the first time the the volume level resets to high value. Once set it stay on the same level for each phone number (?) - about the last part I'm not sure. Is it correct or I'm wrong ?

I also have a problem with HTC email app. I cant add one of my email accounts. I get a warning "Authentication failed. Verify user name or password." but I'm 100% sure they are correct. On Inspiration it was working fine.

I flashed whole ROM twice with full wipe. Since I'm S-ON I thought I will need to flash boot.img manual but the phone started normally. At second flash I manually flashed boot. img using Venom Kernel flasher but it didn't help.

I made logcats with Catlog app from play store.

I hope it will help to find a cause

Not sure about Skype, have you try setting WIFI to allways on? So it doesnt hibernate with screen off? Not sure what can i do to specificly fix Skype, it may be app isnt properly compatible with Sensation, or base on which rom is ported. Also it may be possible its audio routing issue, i noted Sebastian about it he will check it!

Camera is Kernel issue and Sebastian will try to fix it.

In call volume issues where reported also on Revelation and ViperS 3.1.4, i was NEVER able to reproduce them, or any logcat provided any useful info, so for now i have no idea how to fix it when i cant even reprduce it :/

Skype normally needs best WiFi performance enabled in WiFi advance settings otherwise users on 4.3.1 needed to roll back to Skype v3 as v4 does that on sensation. Its probably Microsoft's way of getting back at Google for there version of the YouTube app on their devices lol

I tested Skype with options:
Leave Wi-Fi on in sleep mode - set to "always"
Best Wi-Fi performance - set to "on"

It didn't help. Is it possible to change minimum CPU frequency ? I could run few test with different values. I don't remember that I had choice in armora.
