I Don't know why but i am being bored playing wid sense 5 as there is too damn slim i.going back ytoe no carousel animation in launcher,no such 3D recent apps,no tabs switcher.But it still cool for gaming,multitasking,smoothness etc.going back to sense 4+.

I'm new user on XDA but old reader. After almost a year I decided to make an account and hit thanks to all of you that made my phone beter .

Back to the topic. This ROM is amazing ! Smoothness is great, battery life is very good for now (I've charged my phone twice since ROM instalation), but I experienced few bugs on my phone.



I confirm that.
During a phone call when I have my phone near the ear (the screen is turned off) I can't hear anything and the person who I talk with can't hear me either. I have a logcat for this bug. In my opinion this is related with off screen CPU frequency. I had similar issue on Inspiration 1.0.1 (I know this is entirely different ROM but issue is very similar) after I reflshed the ROM with lower frequencies (exactly 192 Mhz) to save the battery (at the first installation I chose high value and Skype was running fine - it was around 1 Ghz off screen).



I'm have this too. When I record the video in 1080p and I want to make a photo during the recording, the camera app FC after taking 2 photos.After FC I can't enter camera again. This issue occurs only with 1080p resolution. It works fine with lower.

I've read that many users complain about incoming calls volume. I experience a strange "feature" (?). When I talk with someone for the first time the the volume level resets to high value. Once set it stay on the same level for each phone number (?) - about the last part I'm not sure. Is it correct or I'm wrong ?

I also have a problem with HTC email app. I cant add one of my email accounts. I get a warning "Authentication failed. Verify user name or password." but I'm 100% sure they are correct. On Inspiration it was working fine.

I flashed whole ROM twice with full wipe. Since I'm S-ON I thought I will need to flash boot.img manual but the phone started normally. At second flash I manually flashed boot. img using Venom Kernel flasher but it didn't help.

I made logcats with Catlog app from play store.

I hope it will help to find a cause

I tested Skype with options:
Leave Wi-Fi on in sleep mode - set to "always"
Best Wi-Fi performance - set to "on"

It didn't help. Is it possible to change minimum CPU frequency ? I could run few test with different values. I don't remember that I had choice in armora.

Yes you can change CPU frequencies in Venom Tweaks, just go to CPU tab and scroll down to the bottom.

I think you misunderstood my post I described the situation which i experienced on Inspiration ROM. I haven't tested higher off screen CPU frequency on ViperS 5.0.0 Rom yet since I have no idea how to change it.. Any1 could help ?

you can try to restore from your nandroid backup by extracting files, but it's more comfortable to do this with an appropriate tool like titanium. I choose to continuously backup to google. When you install a new rom and enter your google credentials an wait lets say at least one hour apps and most data will be restored. Missing settings that haven't been backuped to google can be restored with data only option in titanium. I follow this process with every new rom I installed with full wipe and it works pretty well.

Hello team,
I noticed a minor bug:
I configured my company exchange mail account and synchronized the mails / calendar events / contacts.
Whenever I compose / edit some HTML content (an email / calendar entry) and try to select some text in it, the tool bar pops up above selected text. Actually everything works fine but the icons seem to be wrong... Please take a look into attachments.
It does not happen if I convert the HTML entry / mail to pure TEXT. Then when you select some text the bar pops up with correct icons.

Could you please correct this?

Use 4ext recovery and flash the rom with the smartflash option ON. You should also do a full wipe except sd card.

just check "perform full wipe" option in aroma
do not forget to make back up before you start to install this Rom
