Thank you very much to team Venom ivicask!!! Flashed this rom finally even I am busy~ Overall it is smooth but sometime is a bit laggy~ Didn't find any bug in this rom~ Thanks again! =p I am S-On user, feel lucky cuz I just enable smartflash and everything flash smoothly, the kernel flasher is no needed for my case~ Just to inform and help u guys get more info~ Thanks! =p

I have been downloaded and installed it but not work.
The widgets is showed on menu that I can select and put it on desktop but it display error message when I return to desktop.
Can awesome guys tell me how to solve it out?

About the sense lags , l think it is caused by low memory allocation. It is known to all that ion need more hardware memory allocation. Maybe we should give more memory to surface flinger or touchscreen driver..... Jellybean need more framebuffer....

Issues installing and turning the wifi on

Hi,

Its great job you do there guys so thank you and keep up the good work....however i had few issues installing it at the begining

1- I had to fully wipe my phone for 3 times to make it start easly
2- WIFI wont turn on
3- i get many error messages runing some apps

i have attached 2 bug reports and not sure if its recorded correctly
my phone is S-Off and rooted

I just linked them to you, I haven't tried them but if they don't work they need resizing and I think ivica is started to port them as he posted the gallery widget already earlier.

For those who has random sense and notification bar lags, there is a 100% working method to fix it.

Enable the value "disable hw overlays"in developer settings. Then sense will never be laggy.

I met sense lags in almost every sense jb rom. I tried to disable the hw overlays , and it 100% works. I had tested it for weeks and the lags never occurred.

For those who think sense 5 has less fps, l disable the hw overlays and the fps stays 55+

I configured the build.prop to use gpu composition as it same as disable hw overlays.
is as smooth as silk but it drain the battery quite higher
here a test.zip for everyone to test it.

Edit: Panorama mode is sensitive to vertical movement though for me when taking it, does the HTC one have an image stabilizer? Just took another 4 HDR works well so does gif mode but fast burst only takes 2 shots after hearing shutter sound many times as mentioned in OP. Flash is disabled when opening camera at 14% battery but the HTC flashlight app still works.




More of a work around than a fix but I haven't came across this yet, as in Sense 4+ for example when accessing recent apps or some others had with entering clock widget or using a screen (night) filter then sense scrolling between home screens would lag a bit if not disabling hw overlays. But on this ROM I find is just after rebooting for a few seconds but that is nothing out of the ordinary as many things are loading in background. How do you reproduce the low frame rate of home screen or notification bar? I think pulling down the notification bar is the fastest I've experienced.

Done via the stock keyboard by long pressing 12# button on bottom left of keyboard but if you use a third party keyboard there isn't another option for it. If the Venom tweak could be added back to swap the attachment button to the smilies button like in older previous ViperS ROMs, would solve this.
I think you can manually enter them though.

you are only one user who reported it as working perfectly so far so @ivicask cannot rely on your word alone. he needs more users to confirm this thing so that the more users who confirm it as perfect then he will apply the fixes on the next update of the rom. in short, we are all like his beta testers for fixing the remaining bugs of the rom.. which i feel to be honored..for the best dev team in the world.:victory:
