Advanced task manager pro is the best I find with task killer widget with toast and very accurate ram info.

Download taskmanager from HERE and just flash it(extracted from viperOne rom).I think ivicask forget to add it bcz i am using it on my ONE

flash it via recovery, and you have task manager

Don't use task killers. They just kill the battery. Let the OS cache programs itself, and it will kill in background.

I think what @hunt did here was cool. so i would like to make a suggestion.. will it be possible to add this one as a tweak in language and keyboard? i mean, it would be nice if we can switch to a white keyboard (and back if we get bored by it) so maybe an option to select keyboard color in keyboard settings? hunt made 2-his first work was a pure black kesense keyboard and this one here, the pure white is his latest.

i found a problem with camera : i take a photo with flash when battery is 15% , it ok , then take the second photo , the battery drop to 13% and my phone shut down immediately. When i power on my phone battery is 5%
i already tried again : charge battery to 15% and take photo again , the same problem happened
This problem did not happen when i use viper 3.1.4.

That's obvious. Never take any shots with flash when you're on <25% battery. It causes reboot because you're running old battery. And check any HTC ROM, you won't be allowed to use flash while you're <30% battery.

Last night I was trying watch a movie with the MHL and I was using and app called Veetle and this app has the option of see the channels on HD or not Hd , so when I choiced HD the video lags like on viper s 3.1.4 but it doesn't when choice sd(non Hd )or when I come back to main menu.
It only does when play HD video.
Any ideas what maybe the problem?

Guys, I just had a random restart, from splash screen. My ROM is a clean install. I checked my last_kmsg and saw a kernel panic. Can someone check it for me? I don't really understand it. I have everything on stock values.

Edit: the panic says something about modem crash. I don't know if it has to do anything with it, but I have 11.29A radio right now.

hi guys. honestly, i tried the compass fix but looks like my phone's compass still does not work properly. and found that compass fix can fix camera panorama mode, it does not make sense (sorry i m not a specialize for android just my gut feel). so i doubt that the compass fix is useless for compass bug coz it does not work on my phone. i m very curious that why so many person said it works. hope u professionals can figure out the compass bug completely. tks

I suggest making a nandroid and installing ROM with full wipe in aroma and then installing fix straight after to see if it now works otherwise just restore your nandroid. If your using a case with a mangnetic button, throw it away...

I applied compass fix but compass app still shows that north is where real west direction. What should I make then?

Go outside to avoid interferences and calibrate it as Mark376 mentioned quoted and highlighted below.

Try to calibrate the compass with 8-figure and your compass will be work perfectly, I test it and show correct direction same as my magnetic compass.

Adding contact picture works fine for me, I goto the contact, press edit, press the camera picture up top, I choose gallery and select my picture and then I press save and it works fine. Maybe you guys have left over photo junk from previous ROM such as thumbnails etc.

Just tested this and works fine here, check it out if you like (same name) uploaded just before I wrote this. Some people need to disable high quality image processing in advanced settings in instagram, I never needed to though.

I don't know was it discussed before, can't find in this thread, but I have a bug.

If I put any app as start bar or lock screen shortcut, it's imposible to remove it.
I have put galery shortcut with camera and now its imposible to remove any of these apps.
it yust makes copies. also is impossible to remove phone or messages icon and put some other.

anyone with idea?

It's not a bug. You can't remove an app but whatever you put on your dock, you can "throw" it back to.the app drawer. Open your app drawer and drag the app in your dock that you want to remove/replace and.it will be back to the drawer. If you notice, if you pull an app out of the drawer, it will be gone there and the remaining apps there will be rearranged.

actually he must upgrade his firmware first to ics(hboot 1.18->gingerbread firmware)
did you tell him to follow htcdev unlock method?

there are two ways now

just pick up the one which is for his region(check cid) and ics firmware
first he must relock the bootloader

2)revolutionary.io method to S-OFF

after S-OFF he have to flash 3.33 universal from this thread

just follow the instructions to the letter
and before flashing check md5 sums(IMPORTANT)

note: if he choose the second option he has to restore the backup
