how to check for it? btw, that link you gave me is the one i chose to give him earlier.:) but thanks anyway. really appreciate the help. sorry for ruining this rom thread. the OP can just delete my posts here after i sort out this problem. i am used to helping noobs on my FB sensation group...i have helped many people root and have custom roms, but this problem i am facing now for someone is the worse i have yet faced. so i need help from an awesome community like xda.:D
Well I know 4ext has an option to check md5 but I can't remember if clockwork does but here is a md5 checker for PC in the link below that I use.
It's a standalone program so it doesn't need to install.

MD5 & SHA Checksum Utility > https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/55494910/MD5%20%26%20SHA%20Checksum%20Utility.exe

so ok now..i'm getting the idea

Yes choose the one at the top of the list, I have linked it below also.

PG58IMG.zip is flashed via bootloader, just place the PG58IMG.zip on the root of his SD card and enter bootloader :)

Universal 3.33 firmware > http://d-h.st/SuC

Edit: Make sure he checks the md5 checksum is correct for the PG58IMG.zip after placed on SD card before flashing (very important).
so now, after i let him place the firmware on his sdcard root, then i will tell him to boot to bootloader and let it read the IMG file? then what? and also, i wanna know, after updating his firmware and still he cannot flash the 4ext via the recovery, can he use the CWM to finally flash the sense 5? my plan for him is this: after he updates his firmware and he will try to install sense 5 using CWM (if it is possible), then when his rom boots up, i wiill let him install the 4ext app so that he can download and flash the 4ext recovery to replace his CWM and he can finally retry to reflash the sense 5, this time using 4ext. sounds complicated?

Yes first place firmware on root of SD card and boot into bootloader, once bootloader has read the IMG file press power button to install, then power off phone and remove the IMG from the SD card.
Then place the recovery IMG I have made for you (linked below) on the root of the SD card and boot into bootloader again and it will read the image and press power to install, then power phone off again and remove the IMG once again.
Once that is done just boot into 4ext recovery and flash ROM remembering to tell him to select full wipe during the installation process and that's it. :good:

4ext recovery touch v1.0.0.5 RC9 (latest version) > https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/55494910/4EXT_Recovery_Touch_v1.0.0.5_RC9/PG58IMG.zip

md5: 22195EFFACC2DBC2A61ABA64789A1775

Edit: If he wondering how to power off phone as I mentioned after flashing a PG58IMG.zip file, it will ask you to reboot. Just press the power button to reboot and pull the battery out when you see the HTC splash screen.

Already include boot.img fix in Sense 5

Sent from my HTC Sensation Z710e using XDA Premium 4 mobile app
i think you misunderstood me, what i meant is the graphical glitch is almost same as Revelation/Vipers 3.1.2 Without boot.img..
i encountered this on Tokyo Track.

Compass should work same as on Revelation/ViperS 3.1.4, meaning if it doesnt work for you its your device issue, your near some magnetic field or devices that are interfering with it, or you need to do compass calibration

Look at this video, even on iPhone its same thing and needs the same calibration method

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sP3d00Hr14o
First I got the impression compass is working fine for me. Then I compared to an analog compass and saw the inaccuracy. Tried to calibrate and it's getting worse. With every repetition compass turned by around 10°. So I repeated until it fits ...
But I'm not sure about long term stability

Nothing i can do about it, Sensations compass is just bad, or yours maybe even worsen with time..

yes, I think my finding is a proof of the poor hardware in atleast my sensation. But google maps and other navigation software is working well. Maybe they make a self calibration as they have maps gps locations and so you can soft-calibrate with some propability.
And of course nothing to be done in rom or kernel.

Yeah no worries just flash the recovery IMG I gave you on the last post as the same as you would flash firmware (no need for PC) and anymore issues just PM me :)
Even with sweep2wake is not usable :(
Yes it might be too late for you my friend :(
You could try pull it apart and try fixing it yourself or getting it repaired by someone but I don't know what would be cheaper getting it repaired or buying a new one...
You could get a new main board from ebay if that's what the power button is connected to but unsure.
Surely there are YouTube videos on how to do it :)
