Full Wipe

Not really required. I did only a partial wipe. Things working beautifully. All apps installed earlier retained. Root Explorer works. SU updates. TB copies stuff into SD card.

Here's a small patch for those who are having problems with root explorer and some other apps that require root. This patch is only around 4Mb so it's a smaller pain than download the whole patched ROM again. I pulled the bin/xbin files from Crash_1976's JB, so thank you C.

edit: someone reported wi-fi not working after this patch, so...now you're advised!

Edit: Reflashing the ROM Fixed it - with dalvik and cache wipes

Here's a new patch which should not break the wlan....Don't know if it will fix the wlan if it's already broken, but it just might. Anyway, worked for me (fixed root explorer not working etc...).

Reflashing Fixed it, my root explorer works fine though, What is the patch inteded for? I must have missed something from the previous page. thanks

It's just a patch for those who are having problems with root explorer & other apps that require root. The previous update I shared here broke Wi-Fi. The latest one works as it was intended in the first place (at least I'd like to think so ...works for me anyways).

It will be much easier if you all used solid explorer, which in my opinion works better than root explorer anyway.

i flashed that zip root explorer works but there are only read rights no write rights cant delete apps from system/app

flash supersu and busybox zip that you used to root your note it will get your root back

Flash it again without wipIng. Worked for me.

No it is not giving root. supersu showing " no binary installed and supersu cannot install it" Please guide.

To the people getting error installing apps to the SD card, remove your SD card and then install them to internal storage.
