How can we upgrade Google Now? (currently the store says that it's incompatible with the device)
Btw, why does it not work with voice input? (and has anyone managed to make it work?)

its really interesting when people don't read fist post, expecially since most questions were already answered, given that is mostly based in ics rom, and that one already had that issue fixed http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=25126525&postcount=651 here, i`m gessing that it wil work on 4.1 as well.

P.S. our legend`s soc is not supported higher then froyo so there are no real voice search compatibilityes, and just because it will work on ics or higher it does not mean that it will work good with most languages

This ROM is very stable and can be used daily. Great Work !

The only problem I've encountered is the lack of internal memory, but that's a compromise for getting JB i guess.
Not flashing the Gapps also is fine... i had the play store installed when i flashed the ROM, so i downloaded the gapps i really need (maps and YouTube) from there.

there is dummy settings developer options tou have there the animation speed transition speed etc, default set to x1, put it o 0 and they are off

Here's an update to my previous post. After a week I started getting the old issues again, even with the changes. Would refuse to wake up from sleep, started to lag real bad then started getting wake locks (I didn't have battery stats installed so don't know what was causing the wake locks). Anyway I've gone back to cm7.2 (latest nightly) as it is the most stable of every rom I've used.

Hi guys, i have a question about the led notification. Personnaly i prefer a solid green led for the incoming call or message rather than a blinking one.
I remember a cyanogen version which had the solid led. I searched in the option but didn't find a good one.
Thank to this thread i look closely in /sys/class/leds where are defined the comportement of the led.
I tried to modify the blink value but it's overwrite by an incoming notification. I think that by creating a tasker profile and modifying the brigthness value i could obtain a solid led for an incoming message.
But i've the sensation that's not pretty clean, so could someone provide me little help on the subject.

used to happen a lot to me too..switched to smartass governer and set the process limit to 4..the problem seems to have reduced quite a bit.
And when this still happens once a while, hmm how do i put it without sounding retarded..press the screen against your skin for a while and cuz of the warmth or something..VOILA:laugh:

I had the same problem and switched to CM9.1 and the battery lasts for a long time.

Battery life is a problem for me too. Tried this otherwise excellent ROM for a few days, but my battery will not last 1 single day. Battery stats indicate that my screen is using the most.

Went back to stable 7.2 and I can use my Legend for more than 24 hours without recharching. I would definately use this ROM if the battery would last longer.

In my case I apparently solved this issue changing in developer settings what is related to animation.
I setted everything to 0 or off and I have not seen it in beta1.

Auto brightness does not work in CM10, but if you set it manually to reduce consumption you will not notice the difference with cm9.
At least in my case the difference seems to be not so evident.

So don't use this script until you have a high speed sdcard(like SanDisk Mobile Ultra Class10 UHS-1 series. I'm already had one).

I attached this script below,don't try to install in CWM (This script is from other device's forum, just manually push into "system/etc/init.d" and set permissions as "rwxr-xr-x")

There's an app in the Google Play that does something similar, but more configurable, called Link2SD, you might want to take a look.

By the way, those of you who are running out of battery, it will probably be related to the Adreno GPU draining it in each animation.
Turning off animations (and having a careful setting for brightness) may improve a lot your battery life.

My phone lasts more or less the day until I get back home, so I think it didn't make a huge diference in that aspect from CM7.

Bug report: on some apps that use the camera, and resize the video feed, the painting falls sometimes:
instead of using the apropriate part, it shows glitches on the upper side of the screen (something like 2x statusbar in height).

I also have this effect sometimes when unlocking the phone: instead of showing the lock "circle", it shows nothing, but if I blindly move it to where it is supposed to go to unlock the screen, it works (and it moves in the "glitchy" part on the top of the screen).

I think this may be caused by the GPU drivers corrupting some memory where it is not supposed to write, but I am no dev here.

Thanks for this fantastic rom. The only thing I have noticed so far is that my phone quite often reboots when using GPS.
Other than that this rom is flawless (other than the fact that it sometimes has very low RAM free, but that's because of the phone not because of your rom)

One Problem:
We can not use talk for voice chat. Has someone any idea what to do to get this working?

Did anyone manage to use voice recognition (in any app)?
For me it just fails.

You need to have google search installed which came with the ROM, then:
1) install Voice Search
2) install Voice Search Assistant
3) To use - open the app drawer and click on the blue microphone.
