After using rom I have almost pure positive comments phone. Performance is spot on,available ram has increased however there is only one problem the auto brightness is set too low than original.
Also,I was gonna ask how I go about restoring camera functionality? -Quadrant advance score at 1555 @ 1200 mhz 80 vsel : )

Update : okay I've ran into something I had the phone on idle and came back to it the phone temperature reached 61 degrees so pretty high if yu ask me any solution? Im running overclock at 1.2ghz using milestone so nothing major. Thanks. -jabba

Hi Jboogie,

after using your rom since yesterday, so far so good !!! Perfect !!!

The last thing that would be great is to have a circle battery indicator (obviously blue) in the status bar instead of the one you put.

With the % remaining inside like in Iaio's rom, S.Froyo Fin III.
He took it from galaxy.

Why overclocked so high? No need at all unless you are playing a game or on the web. At least drop it down to 1ghz. With setcpu you can set a profile up for when the phone screen is off, it will under clock to save battery and also not over heat.

Ive taken your advice onboard im on 1ghz hopefully itll do the trick and i do browse the web quiet abit, ive added some adding in profile i think its definately done the job i have my off for hours on end so i think itll really help hopefully so thanks for that and i set it to go to 300mhz if temperature goes past 40C`

Ive also decided to stick with original rom font was just unbareable after a day sorry lol

Im just stuck on hoaw to get my camera back up & working any ideas?

before i flashed one of jboogie's awesome ROMs on my brother's Defy, my brother was using a 2.34.1 based blurless optimized ROM (from HandlerExploit) but for some reason his camera and camcorder icons and apks were missing. HandlerExploit refused to help. Anyways, i downloaded a few apps that got the camcorder and camera working again.

AnCorder got the camcorder going and Camera Magic (as well as Camea 360 free) got the camera going again. Maybe give those a shot if you dont want to wipe and redo?

Goood rom, quite fast, with only few bugs for me. I am really happy with this release.
For european, had to fix the 3g, it was working but not straight.

Minor bugs met, if that helps:
-The light of the 4 touch buttons at the bottom is not always on...(met on all recent rom tried)
-Got some black screens while launching some apps from time to time : gallery app mainly (I pulled out the battery and it was up again, I have more than 400pics), mp3 app as well

-Phone went in a black screen state, up, but frozen during the night (missed alarm this morning ), drained 50% of the battery in 6 hours. Restarted it via removal of the battery...all working now will see how long it last.

have you tried 3g mobile hotspot to tether internet via wifi?

i tried it and my defy overheat to 52 degree celcius, it's like i could fry an egg on my defy.. are you face the same problem? thanks

The BEST Rom available right now... Pure, fast, beautifully themed... about a week in and NOT ONE complaint. If you don't like the font, search XDA for fonts!!!

Battery manager is set to battery saver. Change it to performance. And if u are using setvsel.. remove it!

It just show "download unsuccessful" and back to the "Free" button.

I gonna try to update to this rom from JB3 but I have a couple of questions:

- the note on the calendar widget buggers me a lot. Any chance to get a fix on it anytime soon?
- are you using italic fonts in the menus? the note with the optional font update is changing this back or the (imho) excellent fonts on the locker screen?
- is there a direct performance comparison between jboogies3 orange and this one? should it be faster/slower than the previous one?
