This is hands down the best rom for my phone. I just can't get the 3.6 roms to run as well, especially for battery life. On gb I'm mostly missing the ICS Gmail app lol. I was loving devil toast but.... We'll here I am again.

im on S-OFF hboot 1.50 Juopunutbear and rooted ,firmware on ICS nocturnal xi36 with build number 1.13.6521.1
if i want to downgrade to this rom, i just flash this rom using rom manager ? and does this UV on default?

Since you are s-off 1.5 you just flash in your recovery. As for UV, it does conserve battery when the screen is off and give you dual core performance when screen is on.

I've tried a lot of the newer ROMs, but I keep going back to this one for a battery life. Nothing I've tried tops it, though I miss out on the new ICS or JB features, the battery life can't be beat.

- MeanRom ICS v2.6 (followup to v4.5). Neither being developed for months now.
- Negalite BluRom (ICS, updated for 2.89/2.95 and full of install options). Active frequent Development.

I agree I just cried a little when I saw this at the top of the thread discussion. This ROM still after years is my favorite ROM for battery life.

I don't think Mike will be back to this thread anyway and if you want to put another GB ROM side-by-side with MeanROM GB the ZR3D GT4.3 ROM is probably the one you had in mind, and it's a great ROM too. But it's like comparing apples and oranges and ultimately comes down to personal taste.

In his comments about developing for the Note 2 Mike mentioned that users with that device seem to be more into tweaks and customization so his ROM hasn't caught on as fast there.

More like comparing a Ferrari to a Lamborghini. Both are great in their own way.

And I'd be more into tweaks and customization if I had to run Touchwiz too.
