I stopped telling everyone they are wasting their time with the so-called fix. At some point I realised that people obviously want something they can believe in and no matter what I tell them they will still rather believe than think (for some the fix that doesn't change anything even magically fixed their problems).Or we are just wasting time...

At first I refused to accept that. I still don't understand why users of technology built of reason and logic blindly believe everything people with no background in a topic or profound facts tell them.
Task-killers are one of said topics. Even blog entries of Android developers or theirs statements won't stop people from using task-killers. I'm not even an Android developer, so why should people believe me?
For those with somewhat sane minds I'm repeating my statements: The settings in the config file called "GPS fix" can't configure anything because there's not a single line of code that honours these values in the whole Android framework.
