I fixed then mobile network icon using xposed which now only shows LTE. You can find that in status bar tweaks of Gravity.

EDIT: I thought it was fixed but it isn't with Gravity. Gravity looks like a POS for Lolipop, basically does nothing. Makes no difference as the phone works with it saying 3G etc.

Missing Mail Application?

Just did a full clean wipe/install per the instructions. Unable to connect to WPA2 Enterprise networks via WiFi, but also there is no Mail application to connect to corporate mail accounts. I only see Gmail. Where can I find the usual stock "mail" application?

This rom is based on Google Edition Firmware as noted on page 1 info section. That means pure "stock" android, no TouchWiz and no Samsung bloat. I think you might be more interested in GoldenEye...?

Google got rid of the old Email app and updated Gmail to connect to Exchange accounts. If you want a separate app, I've read the Outlook app (not Outlook.com) works well.

Menu Button with onscreen buttons

How on earth do you access the menu button on 5.0 version with onscreen keys? I know it's probably a stupid question but I've spent most of the day trying to figure this out.

Can you guys check something for me? I just reinstalled Kangapop yesterday after a few weeks on Goldeneye. I can't sign in to any Amazon app. Login screen appears but it doesn't recognize the touchscreen. I switched keyboards but same issue. I tried clearing app cache and data but no luck. Only seems to happen with Amazon apps but never happened in my previous time on KP.

So I'm not sure if you've stumbled on this or not by now, or if it applies, but I was having the same issue with logging in to the Amazon app store and Amazon app after flashing pacman rom. Turns out I just had to put Lux to sleep lol so simple! Hope that helps :)

Get autostarts on another ROM

I accidentally posted this same question in you're touchwiz ROM, but it was actually meant for you're GPE version. Is there a way to get the autostart function on another GPE ROM? Maybe by extracting out the APK perhaps? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Love this feature on you're ROM.

I need a streamlined, fast, LTE/wifi/bluetooth every day ROM thats 5.0+ and wont crash using google apps or give force close errors during the day.

It also needs to be able to be flashed onto a never updated, clockworkmodrecovery flashed, I337UCUAMDL build.

Can this rom provide these things? If this is possible, can you provide me some quick steps. Ive been out of the flashing business for so long, that all of this stuff seems foreign to me now. I still know my way around clockworkmod though for the most part as I just did a backup.

Any help or links are appreciated

In short IB's Kangapop is an easy answer.

I too am on an i377, MDL. Although I did end up needing to up date both my modem (not baseband!) and recovery.

Two threads that may help:

http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=53758227
And
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2314494

The 1st will get you a newer modem and the second as general i377 education.

Edit: As for which modem, I'm currently using NK1 but you may need to experiment to see what works best. Give a few days per each modem test.

So you think this is a good fit for what Im looking for? Any real issues with it? Stable? Everything (wifi/gps/bt/tethering/etc) work without issue?

Thats really nice of you to hit me up with those two threads and give me some info.

I use my phone for business so I cant really afford to take the time to test each modem out - if I miss calls or texts or whatever, I could be out serious money. Whats the difference between the modems?

Do I need to update my recovery from CWM to the other one? My CWM I believe is updated due to it being touchscreen now and now scrolling with the volume keys.

I havent kept up to date information about the unit, but I know the basics. Flashing the modem and whatnot can be done from within recovery right? Or do I need odin for that?

1) Just do a nandroid backup before you do any experimenting and you're covered. The risk is minor, if you don't like the new or it doesn't work just restore from backup. -- Maybe even test it to prove the backup will work for you. -- Also do your experimenting on a Friday night so you have the rest of the weekend if things don't go as expected. This will give you more time to get things setup just right.
2) Modem can be updated/flashed via recovery. Generally the latest is the best, but I've read performance can vary depending on your location. Thus everyone will say... Your Mileage May Vary!
3) KangaPop (@iB4STiD) has been good for me. It's about as close to Pure Google as I think any custom ROM could be. So yeah, it's solid and hence the infrequent tweaks/updates.

Oh, and yes I too started with CWM and had to update it to get KitKat updates to work for me and later switched to TWRP to play with something different. -- Note: you can't use a CWM backup on TWRP or the reverse!

Good advice - Kangapop is a solid, stable rom. If I had to pick one 5.x rom to stick with it would probably be this one.

You. I like you. This is great information for me and really helps me ease through this. Thank you so much :D

1) I work most every day, so weekends are generally not saturday and sunday for me. However, I feel as if Im prepared, I can get everything done within a few hours, so super late at night might be my best bet. I know it takes at least 20mins to get a backup from CWM, as I generally do backups once every month or so.
2) So what are the signs of a bad modem? Dropped calls/signal? Not getting texts? Speed drops? How long should I run with a modem to see how its working? Can I keep a few on the sd card and quick flash another one, reboot and it pick everything up?

Good advice - Kangapop is a solid, stable rom. If I had to pick one 5.x rom to stick with it would probably be this one.
Awesome. Seeing someone else jump in and say it too means good things. Im trying not to spend too much time futzing around with it.
