Yes, you can flash the rom but i'm not sure about that edmhar's root.zip

Boot logo is stock but bootabimation is not stock, will upload it(flashable zip) in afternoon today

ART(android runtime) its just a way the operating system tries opening any app, kitkat by default uses dalvik runtime but kitkat has ART only for testing purpose and also useful for geeks who need to get a look at the product before its completely out, in a sence it more like in beta phase in kitkat but its the sole runtime used in android L.....
ART uses a slightly more storage then dalvik runtime but its leads to quicker app opening speed then dalvik runtime..it may or may not be noticeable by user....

you need to install latest version of google search from play store, uninstall GPL first then install gsearch then again install GPL
