Been on Slimroms but considering moving back to Touchwiz. Can anyone confirm if it has inbuilt battery saver like in galaxy s5? Thanks.

guess what I think I fixed my problem with force closes.
I restored each apps/data one at the time.
I think I had few apps are incompatible with this rom or the apps were bad.

Anyone has issues streaming music via bluetooth? I get jumps in the music when pressing the on button when the screen is off.

Please don't ask me for jb support. you can install the new rom (from the new thread) and install a older kernel from me that support jb bootloader. The kernel support for the jb bootloader will stop and only the kk bootloader will be supported ( a new kernel thread will be opened).

good...that would be less confusing as many keep asking JB bootloader or KK bootloader vise versa...considering Android L is around the corner, it is about time to dump the JB bootloader and move on to KK :D

Is it possible to stay on 2.1 and flash the new (KK bootloader) kernel? I'm not finding the new S-Note in ver 3.0 (no option to install it), so going to 3.0 is not an option for me.

Yes. You can run the KK or JB bootloader with this rom.

    Aircommand terminal command and tips:
    Remember when installing the Aircommand that you will disable some features of your note.
    Like some quick command options and Spen gestures.
    Why this option:
    That is the reason why I build in a command that makes it possible to disable Aircommand or enable it, this way you don't need to reinstall the rom to get rid of Aircommand, with this command you only need to reboot your tablet to enable/disable it.
    When you disable the Aircommand all normal features of the Note8.0 will work again. So it is up to you to decide what you want.

    Open terminal emulator
    su (enter) airoff (enter)
    su (enter) airon (enter)

    Tip to pop up the Aircommand :
    Go to Xblasted modules - Statusbar - Gestures and select a gesture to pop-up the Aircommand trigger app.
    I did long press in statusbar. Now you can open the Aircommand in any app by long presing the statusbar area

    If you are looking for the Spen window manager only (no aircommand) support I suggest you install this app (best but you need to pay for it) or this , it can only makes pen window short cuts. where the paid app allows much more options .
    With one of these apps you don't need Aircommand to have the pen windows.

    Don't use Chrome use Chrome Beta.

    Installation:
    First time you install KitKat rom follow the instructions. After that there is no way back to JellyBean BOOTLOADER and your warranty is void as the KNOX is tripped in bootloader. You can still install JellyBean Rom compaired with JB kernel on the new bootloader Kitkat bootloader not needed with new included kernel
    1. Download the rom from this thread for your device and place it on your Note8.0
    2. Install the latest PhilzTouch recovery for your device (I'm running philz_touch_6.41.6-n5110).
    3. Full WIPE if you install this rom for the first time.
    4. Install the rom and reboot

      If you have ROOT problems go to the recovery and RE-ROOT with the PhilZ recovery option.

    First KitKat kernel for the Note 8.0 KitKat TouchWiz roms, and samsung still didn't release the official source.

    Yep you are correct, zzmoove that is included in the kernel causes wrong hot plugging of the cores. I refuse to give up. My rev 1.5 is smooth as butter. Now try to fix the al sensor outbrightness problem.

    Got the autobrightness sensor problem fixed, now it works.
    Coming closer to a public release, what a good night can do with a man.
    I thought about giving up but now I'm not giving Samsung the satisfaction. :D


    EDIT2:
    All lag problems have been solved with updating zzmoove and changing profile.
    Now when I get home I will build rev1.7 release version and I will open a seperate thread for the kernel.
