DotOS Revolution ROM is a free, community built, aftermarket firmware distribution of Android 7.1 (Nougat), which is designed to increase performance and smoothness over stock Android for your device.
Code:
#include <std_disclaimer.h>

/*
 * Your warranty is now void.
 *
 * We are not responsible for bricked devices, dead SD cards,
 * thermonuclear war, or you getting fired because the alarm app failed. Please
 * do some research if you have any concerns about features included in this ROM
 * before flashing it! YOU are choosing to make these modifications, and if
 * you point the finger at us for messing up your device, we will laugh at you.
 *
 */
DotOS Revolution is based on DotOS which is based on the Android Open Source Project with extra contributions from many people within the Android community. It can be used without any need to have any Google application installed. You will need to provide your own Google Applications package (gapps).

Anywone who wishes to contribute to DotOS Revolution is free to give their feedback in this thread.

Important information:
  • This thread is for DotOS Revolution builds for LeEco Le Max 2.
  • If you have problems after flashing any custom kernels please provide a log in the thread where you got the kernel from and not here!
  • I don't want to see anything about Antutu scores here because it's bs, it's all synthetic

Known bugs:
  • Any current DotOS official build bugs

Features:
  • All features from DotOS
  • Customizations
  • Snapdragon LLVM Compiler 3.8.8 and the latest google's clang for host
  • Kernel/ROM is compiled using bleeding edge GCC 6.x toolchain based on UBER
  • SQLite, Skia, Libpng, Libcore, WebP, Jemalloc, ART, Bionic, Dalvik, Zlib, libjpeg-turbo, gemmlowp (mainly from BenzoRoms sources, it is more up to date and optimized).
  • Kernel with optimizations, additional tweaks and updates (based on Blackscreen and Blu_spark kernel, also I suggest to use this one)
  • UBER-ified JustArchi's ArchiDroid Optimizations (O3, Graphite, Strict Aliasing, OpenMP, etc.)
  • SDCLANG LTO implemented and applied on several parts which have impact on performance
  • Patches related to overall responsiveness, smoothness and user experience
  • A few additional practical settings/tweaks
  • Blu_active
  • Upstreamed kernel
  • Slim trees
  • Other things I forgot about

After using this ROM for like a week:
1. Smoothest Rom for lemax 2.
2. Battery backup is average. Could be better.
3. Sound through speaker is great.
4. Theme colour accents options are really great especially when you get bored pretty quickly with same interface again and again.
5. Finger print sensor works great at average speed.
6. G camera works for me plus default ( wasn't working art first .. Start working after 2-3 restarts.
7. There's no option to take screen shot.
8. There's no option to enable soft keys though I found a way on searching on internet.
9. No option to show data speed at status bar.
10. Signal strength could be better.
11. Overall great Rom for daily use. I will be using it for a longgggggggggg time.

Thanks developer.

Thank you man! If you want better battery you can change the cpu gov to smartmax. Won't be as fast but better battery. Screenshot option depends on the rom base, you can get an app from play store, same as soft keys. You can change the modem for better signal
