5.1.0 magisk manager has some issues. Flash 13.3 through twrp and use it with 5.0.6. It works flawlessly without any issues. It even passes the safety net. Cheers :fingers-crossed:

Stupid me upgraded the manager, but not magisk itself. Upgraded both, working fine
Viper/Arise + Magisk
Anyone managed to get Viper/Arise working with Magisk 13.3? I had it working previously but the latest Magisk broke the compatibility module I was using. Rolling back to 13.2 and I can't seem to get it working any longer. Status is abnormal and driver isn't enabled. Following instructions doesn't seem to change anything, so I'm not exactly sure where the problem lies. It's almost as if a fluke caused it to work previously. I can't replicate it. Definitely don't recall how I did it either. Was hoping someone could provide some input.

So I flashed both the normal Lineage OS as well as Sultan's Lineage OS (currently running) and my phone still has the same charging issue.... Either it just doesn't charge when plugged in, or it takes like 5 hours. So I am thinking I should probably flash the normal Lineage OS and then flash a kernal, never flashed a kernal before so any suggestions on which Kernal I should flash for faster charging?
I am on the latest magnum opus but I use the aroma installer since it's easier. I believe fixing sd permissions was the trick to get it to work previously, but doesn't seem to work this time around.
First of all check ur charger and the charging cable, if anyone of them is damaged ur phone won't charge properly.
try modular installer i think aroma development is dead??
It's still the latest 2.5.0.5 module regardless. In fact, the aroma link was posted recently and was up to date at the time of installation. Here's a line from the original thread: Both modular installers are identical in content. Not all users enjoy AROMA compatibility with their custom recovery or may simply prefer the method of using /sdcard/arise_customize.prop to determine the sound system installation result.
Edit: Upon checking the downloads page, you may be correct. However, the aroma version was still working, so it may not actually be broken. I will attempt the modular installation again, but I had no luck with it previously.
Edit 2: Seems to work now. I shall stick to the modular version. Thanks for your help.

Magisk manager 5.1.0 works just fine. You have to uninstall the manager, then flash magisk uninstaller via twrp, then without leaving recovery reboot to recovery, flash magisk 13.3 and reboot to system. This procedure worked for me...

Thanks! Haven't used magisk on this Rom yet, so I guess I can safely flash latest. Not that I miss root that much to be honest
Anybody have any ideas? I really need this as I'm always driving thanks.
Which gapps package are you using? I think there is no OK google enrollment on smaller packages.

I have got a magisk module "enable doze for gms" which is not compatible with 5.1.0 so it giving force close pop up. Other wise 5.1.0 holds good

This is an unofficial LineageOS 14.1 ROM for the OnePlus One that focuses on stability and the overall user experience. This ROM comes with a highly-customized kernel, as well as some other very custom modifications.

safety mechanisms now, and you may get better battery life) - Rewrote half of the Synaptics touchscreen driver (over 2500 lines of code modified; your touchscreen may work better)

Installation instructions (for first-time installation):
First, perform a backup of your existing setup, and then perform a clean install (wipe /data and /system; TWRP is recommended). Next, try flashing the ROM and see if it installs; if it installs without any issues then congratulations! Now just flash a Google apps package, and then reboot.
If you get an error when trying to install ("bacon.verify_trustzone" error), then first you must install/use the latest TWRP recovery (3.1.1-0). Next, download and flash the latest official CM13.0 snapshot. Then, without rebooting from recovery, wipe /system and flash my ROM. This process is necessary to update various firmwares (including TrustZone), as the updated firmware is needed by this ROM. After flashing this ROM, flash a Google Apps package, and then reboot.
Installation instructions (for updating to a newer release):
If you are already running this ROM, then you can update to a newer version of the ROM via the built-in OTA updater or by simply dirty-flashing the new ROM build without wiping anything. HOWEVER, do NOT reinstall Google Apps after installing a new update.

1. Could you add camera slow-shutter times greater than 2 seconds?
Answer: No, I cannot. The reason why exposure times are capped at 2 seconds is due to the proprietary camera libraries from OxygenOS. Only OnePlus can modify the proprietary camera libraries, so there is no way for me, a regular consumer, to implement exposure times greater than 2 seconds.
2. Why did you use OxygenOS camera libraries? They don't have 4K camcorder support!
Answer: My custom camera HAL enables 4K camcorder support with Oxygen's camera libraries, so this isn't an issue. Cyanogen's camera libraries have had some issues with the camcorder since day 1. The big issue that I have been able to reproduce on all OnePlus One devices I've come across is graphical artifacts in recorded videos (look towards the right @25 seconds): https://youtu.be/LyIbb5wIyfY?t=22s
OxygenOS' camera libraries do not have this issue, and thanks to my modifications, we now have 4K camcorder support with the OxygenOS libraries, so not much is lost by using them. The OxygenOS libraries can also take pictures faster/better than Cyanogen's libraries.
3. Why did you underclock the CPU to 1958MHz?
Answer: At 1958MHz, the amount of heat generated by the CPU is quite a bit less than at 2457MHz, so the CPU is throttled less often (leading to better user experience), and battery life is better as well. The performance difference between 1958MHz and 2457MHz is also not really noticeable unless you use a benchmark application. If you want to remove the CPU underclock then flash the zip from the first post that disables the underclock. You must flash this zip every time you install a new ROM update.90
I'm surprised Sultanxda still manages to balance loads of college homework with a part time job while maintaining this ROM.47
