Hello friend, here the rom worked perfectly until I applied the source change, with the ifont app, from there, I got the same result, I did not receive any more calls, several notifications that I could not see because of this small problem, still in the hope to be able to enjoy your wonderful work.

PS sorry for the bad English.

Video-play back is broken in latest build.
It's a vendor tree/audio implementation issue.
I have to use the AICP vendor tree if you guys want audio to work on Moto Mods.

On AICP the codecs would initialize 10 seconds after booting into the OS but on AEX that doesn't happen.

You have to start playing an mp3 song and tinker with play/pause and locking/unlocking the phone consequtively till the mp3 track starts playing. Videos will work after that.
As someone who restarts the phone once in two days, it's not a big deal.

But I can make a poll to see how many want to keep/remove support for audio mods.

I think most of the code to get this working is in these three commits
https://review.lineageos.org/#/q/st...age-15.1+topic:moto-mods-battery-lineage-15.1

Wouldn't it just be a matter of porting them over to AEX?

I've downloaded the AEX sources and am having a go at it myself, but building any ROM in VirtualBox seems to be a bit sketchy.
Any modification to anything not device-specific within the rom build directory calls for patch formation unless you want to do the changes every time you repo sync.

And why don't you just dual-boot Windows and Linux?

Ahh I see. That's why LineageOS still doesn't have it (I'm still compiling my own unofficial build with these commits for everyday use). AICP has it in the official build, but yeah... they specifically put the changes in for every griffin build, and AICP is incredibly unstable for griffin at the moment anyway.

And why don't you just dual-boot Windows and Linux?
I usually game or do other things while compiling, but I think I'll have to go back to dual-booting Ubuntu.

For me this fix unfortunatelly does not seem to work.
Mp3's and other audio files/streaming work fine upon starting the phone. FHD and lower resolution videos play in VLC, but on 4K it stutters after 1 second and then only audio is left. On google photos, only audio is present; Whatsapp videos and Youtube won't play at all. I don't use any mods.

I hope you can fix this somehow ;) Let me know, if you need a logcat or something.
Otherwhise this rom is really impressive by now, keep up the great work :)

New build up.

Changes:
-fixed video recording and video playback
- some AEX changes
Dirty Flash shouldn't pose any problems I suppose? I kind of want to avoid having to setup my Phone too many times

EDIT: Worked just fine, but how the f.... wow man, you fixed the ctsProfile issue. I flashed the latest zip, and I then did a SafetyNet check with Magisk, I passed both tests. Just... wow. Thanks a bunch.

I'm still trying the build from the 21st and I noticed CTSProfile is true. Did you just fix this or did I mess something up when I tried the build from the 17th?

I didn't do anything special
Must have been a Magisk issue on my end.
The 22nd build is working extremely well for me at the moment. Only thing missing is the efficiency mode but I understand how much of a pain that can be to implement.

Thanks for the great work.

removed the commits which broke video playback/recording.
That means the JBL audio mods won't work now, correct?
