It's working for me now and even on the in-built kernel. Try updating the app.

So, that means I should not expect it to work.

Use NanoDroid-microG-16.1, with every newer version I've got the same problem.

I added a custom CPU scheduler along with a custom I/O one so it should be. You just have to enable them through a kernel control app.

A few updates ago, I lost capability to "screenshare" + "kill-app by longpressing back". I have tried different apps besides those build into the system settings, to regain the long press kill-app. But no luck! ? The screenshare function is pretty unique, so that's a dead end to me as well.. Anyone else noticed it? Anyhow to bring them back even?

Have the latest app version - but did a dirty flash, maybe that's the problem.
Also, I don't have any of the google stuff installed.

I thought "do clean flashes between builds" was a MUST that you guys already knew of.
I guess I will have to write the disclaimer in the largest possible font in the OP.

Well, I usually do a dirty flash and check if there are any issues. If there aren't, I keep that.
If android acts up, I do a clean flash.

However, KHux worked and stopped after an App update - so I didn't think it was AOSP (especially as everything else works fine).

But I'll do a clean flash then

Okay, did a clean reflash now with the latest version.
Didn't install anything else - no magisk, no permissiver just the clean AOSP rom from 16/04.
Then I installed APKPure, grabbed the latest KHUx-version. Nothing else.

Still, the same problem: Grey screen (this time with blinking Android-buttons on the bottom) and nothing else :/

I'm out of ideas here.
As I now need to setup my system anew anyways, I'll also try Lineage and AICP to see if they have the same issue - but my fav one is still AOSP

You don't have Gapps installed, right? Why don't you try a clean install, flash Gapps and install the game through the Play Store?

Same issue with LineageOS and AICP.

Don't have gapps installed - as I'd like to have a Google-free phone (and the play services eat battery).

I'll try that though, so we can see whether this is the issue.
