Very not okay with ROMs including GAPPS. Lots of people don't want to use GAPPS, and baking them in makes your ROM useless for those folks.
AICP has gapps, but you can also try other roms without gapps included.Very not okay with ROMs including GAPPS. Lots of people don't want to use GAPPS, and baking them in makes your ROM useless for those folks.

You sound like a child that's upset because mom didn't cut the crust off his bread for him. Kuran is a really cool guy but he's not your Mommy and you shouldn't talk to him like he is. Rom Builders and developers do this s**t because they love it, not for money. They don't owe user's anything.
BTW all official builds of aicp_mata are Gappless.

Well in this case the dev is in no violation as gapps are not included. Most Official ROMs that I've used Do Not include gapps. There is a reason that LineageOS and other ROMs do not include GAPPS. Google apps are the proprietary Google-branded applications that come pre-installed with most Android devices, such as the Play Store, Gmail, Maps, etc. Due to licensing restrictions, these apps cannot come pre-installed with LineageOS (and any other ROM) and must be installed separately.
So regardless of if you think I'm being 'Childish', and your arguments for 'You don't have to use it', by bundling GAPPS in their ROMs, the authors are violating licensing anyhow. Fortunately Google isn't going to go after some dude on XDA for this, but really, that doesn't make it right or proper to do.

It's 8.1 we are on 9 now. Check the size of download. 500mb almost 600. Last updated 2018. I know it's a little misleading but it's also outdatedFrom the Instructions of the first page of this thread:
'Boot TWRP
FORMAT data partition
Sideload the rom in TWRP, the gapps are included in the rom zip'
So yeah.
