Can you please help. I m a true Nu0b - please tell me how to get pass this error.

In the op there is a patch for Loki doki patch. Download it. Flash the T-Mobile version of the rom and before rebooting install the Loki patch.

The att version was pulled because of problems the way the kernel was getting installed and loki'd (according to jovy).

Can you please help me again.

I have installed other ROM before so i already have Loki- Doki in my X-card. I followed your recommendation and did the following
1) Wipe
2) install Rom: I choose my device as ATT (it is att phone), but then chose T-mobile Kernel (the middle one that is Most stable)

Then i rebooted and flashed Loki-doki.

Now i am stuck at the SUMSUNG Custom screen with a Lock image.

Please help

Yeah. Choose tmobile phone and kernel. And run loki before you reboot.

Wonderful recommendation - everything is smooth.

BTW, for those who have this problem. after installing T-mobile Rome and Kernel, you will see the UI error on the first boot screen, press Ok and wait a little, then continue - you will be going through the whole setting up process without problem

Also after setting up everything, got to your network settings and...

1) Turn off wifi calling
2) Enter an at&t apn or you will have network and data issues

The only issue I have with Infamous v4.0 and 5.0 compare to 3.6 is that: Call Recording on 4.0 and 5.0 do not work. every time i call out/in and press record, the phone freeze. Version 3.6 is flawless on that.
However the version 3.6 is missing the Data shortcut on the status bar (i can see in 5.0)

So would like to see on verion 6.0: data connection shortcut on menu bar, and a working call recording.

Call record was broke due to the loud audio hack I removed a few updates ago was added back in error... This was during the time I lost my 1T hard drive and had to get a new one. There is a thread in the tmo app section with a flashable that will fix it.

To be honest I was only speaking from experience. I would think that you would just need to choose a t-mo phone and t-mo kernel. You would still need to loki.

As far as apn settings, you need to go to system settings -> more settings under wireless and networks -> mobile networks -> access point names -> presss the menu button and new apn -> enter the information in the fields as shown in this link ... http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2236735 ...-> when done entering information press menu and save. Select the new apn.

I read somewhere that an att phone couldn't use tmobile internet but I'm really not 100% in that. Heck I dumped t-mo when I couldn't get data on a t-mo phone.

I tend to Speak while texting (don't like typing), so before i was able to do this (infamou 3.6), but now it said my Google voice search is not active. I went to playstore and it shows that it is installed ... however i cannot see the icon on my menu.

The only way I could get the 3minit settings to work on my wifes phone was to buy the playstore version. Hell it's only 2 dollars and worth it for all the options

Yes, I agree, only $2.00, however, i still have the incompatible issue.
The reason i think might be due to the Old framework built in the Rom - i might be wrong - still learning

So even if i have latest version 3.4 - it wont be compatible.

Any thought?

You stil get the incompatible message but everything works. My wife has been playing with all the options for almost 24 hours. Straight. She loves it!

Jameson modifies the framework to be more compatible with the rom I believe. Updsting from the playstore will break some things in the rom.....or so I've heard.

I'm new to this ROM, and I have a bunch of question that would be appreciate if someone answer them to me.

Baseband : MDL

1. Right now I'm on PAC-Man ROM ( It's an aosp ROM ) and wanted to try this ROM, and don't know that I'm ok to just come straight from that to this ROM by just wiping data and everything.

2. I haven't find any special link for AT&T version and read that wasn't ok so developer pulled it out, and there is only one file with version 5 here ( http://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=23060877490001966 ), and I don't know is my phone support this or not.

3. If that file is ok for my phone, do I have to do anything else beside flashing it like doing loki or not ?

Devs manually port 3minit to work with our framework. So whenever an update drops for 3minit, do not update it. Things will break and most likely you will get in bootloop. Infamous team is pretty good about updating the rom whenever there's an update for 3minit.

As far as trickster mod, u can update that from play store but it might crash the shortcut that's in settings. But I'm sure there won't be any sound, kernel settings under the phone settings since we got the infamous tool now.

1) NFC (file transfer between phones when touching) not working
2) eye gesture not working
3) most important: 3minit does not do anything. I downloaded the 3.1.1 version and install. I tried to change the battery type to Circle Dot - did not work. I tried to do Custom Carrier Text - did not work..... BTW all of these worked on 3.6 ROM (don't know about 4.0)

Any idea how to fix? if 3.1.1 3minit does not do anything, then it is a waste to have it in the rom. Also the build in 3minit under setting Freeze the phone whenever i click on it. The only way to get into 3minit is to click on the installed APK in the screen.

My wife doesn't use nfc or eye gestures so I can't comment on that. As far as the 3minit settings, we never tried any versions other than 5.0 and in this version you must go to the app to change settings and also the app must be the paid version from the play store.
