AOSP cyanogen mod source? LOL.... so it's AOSP or CM based? I have trying amarulls sdext to my dream, and i think will not using it again.... it's still alpha release and not updated, set sdcard speed to 8192, i think the best speed is 2048, but when i trying to edit the speed on script, it's make my dream bootloop.

When using a2sdext :

cant wait to try it out, but yes change it to cyanogen release... not aosp/cm for those are almost as contradicting as aosp/sense

Not at all.

You can easily inherit code from other distros and combine them. Look around. There's AOSP+CM+AOKP roms everywhere. AOSP and Sense are contradictive because Sense is not open sourced whereas CM, AOKP, etc. are. However, usually with the combination of multiple distros, one of the distros is used as a base. Such as an AOSP base with CM drivers and AOKP features.

Lol nice to meet ya xD

And you may as well call it aosp with extras xD to be honest cm7 is just aosp with extra additions and aokp is cm7 with more features so its aosp with more features so u may as well call all roms based on aosp and that have cm7 or aokp features as AOSP+ lol keep the naming to Google's scheme ;) why I added the + there xD

fair enough, maybe aosp/sense is a bit more of a stretch but as the dev changed it to cm the point got across.
aosp=vanilla but im not going to argue this because everything has different connotations to different people, enough said

and to croniccorey - ill be one of the first to try out your rom, looks very promising!

More roms! The g1 lives! Good luck. I recently got my girlfriend an account here, so ill show her this as soon as the download link is up. (she's currently on my cm7 build posted on dw9906's thread)
If you need any help with the rom, or need a box to build on, I'd be happy to help. Or you could talk to infinimint and his team. They are skilled. (If infinimint reads this, I'm wanting to join your team)

Will we be seeing a update to cm 7.2 stable? I believe the last update was about a month ago and was CM 7.2 RC1

Next update will be updated to the latest source avalible at that time

swap is a "file" for storing running stuff. The general Linux "rule of thumb" is double the installed ram. Mine I make as 512mb (Many reasons for this size for my own setup. Make yours whatever size you want). Seems to work well. There are pluses/minuses for using it,tho. It CAN shorten the life of your sdcard due to reading/writing.

The "extra" room I was talking about was the *2ext. It treats your sdcard as internal phone storage memory. It doesn't change the amount of "working" memory, tho. That's when swap kicks in.
