Hive 2 is stable with no wifi.... where the check box is to turn the wifi on, it says error
Hive 3 is still rebooting
Well, I cannot explain that. I just went through the changelog of ROM files that differ between Hive II and Hive III, but there is not much different. Most of the changes are simply updated .APK files -- like what you download via Google Play.

To fix your Hive II Wi-Fi you need to copy a file from the Hive III archive and overwrite the same file on your Jetstream. The file is system/lib/modules/bcm4329.ko. There are many different ways to do this but the easiest is probably via Recovery after mounting the /system directory.

Let me know how this goes.

So I can just unzip the hive 2 archive and then un zip the hive 3 archive and copy the file from hive 3 back into that space in the hive 2 and then copy that complete hive 2 onto my sd card... put the sd card into the jet stream and then install correct?

No, not even close. Do the following.

1) Unzip only the Wi-Fi module file from Hive III.
2) Reboot to recovery.
4) Mount USB storage.
5) Copy the above file somewhere -- and remember where you put it.
6) Mount /system.
7) Run Advanced->File Manager.
8) Copy the above file from where you put it to /system/lib/modules/.
9) Verify that your Wi-Fi works.

There are more straightforward ways to do the accomplish the copy, but the above steps should work.

So.... I open hive 3 folder, go to system, then copy wifi folder? just want to be sure
The file you want is bcm4329.ko and it is in the /system/lib/modules/ directory of hive_iii.zip. You are copying it to the same directory (and overwriting the same named file there) on your Jetstream.

Hi.. thanks for your patience.... I found the bcm4329.ko in the hive 3 folder. I went to the jetstream went into recovery, went to advanced, went to advanced. There are 2 folders. Sys and System. Under sys, I see android camera, android camera 2, android camera awb cal, android touch, block, bus, camera led status, class, dev.
Under System , I see lib and under lib I see , libc.so, libcutils.so, liblog.so,libm.so,libstdc++.so, and libz.so.
And under each of those files I just get the options to delete, reanme, copy, move, chmod 755 and chmod.
I am confused as to where to but the bcm4329.ko file

Hi...update... I copied the bcm file from the hive 3 zip that I downloaded to my sd card. Installed said card into jetstream and went into the recovery app and then clicked install. I found bcm file and clicked on move. I then surfed I guess over to system and the to lib and then clicked something and it moved the bcm file to that lib location.
I then rebooted. still no wifi
