Clean flashed the latest build. ROM is super smooth.
Would like to point out some things:
1. In OOS camera, getting green screen when switching from front to rear cam, random camera lags/stop.
2. Alert slider button needs more options like vibrate and ring
3. Very few tiles in notification drawer (missing night mode, the important one)

I believe Snapchat doesn't work all that good whenever you're rooted.. at least that's what I think...

Sorry for the late reply, and thanks for the response!

I've honestly not had an issue with Snapchat and being rooted, before 7.1.1...but it's not just Snapchat. My banking app's mobile check deposit camera has the same issues, and the main camera app honestly doesn't work that well either. It's mostly focusing...the background focuses fine, but anything in the foreground, I just can't get it to focus, no matter what I try.

Disappointing to say the least, cuz I love this device, but just don't have these problems on my Nexus 6p :/

The Snapchat issue isn't ROM related, I know this because I use it myself without a problem...

Camera issues is being worked on, as told yesterday, found the issue so should be fixed next release...

I'm working on the ROM on almost a daily base getting every feature you guys want in and every bug out, the camera should be the last bug (for now)...

Stay tuned

Flashed the ROM today. Must say the ROM is quite impressive. Will stay on this and give feedback on any bugs. @OwnDroid Additionally, I could see a kernel on your download page. Can you suggest if flashing this kernel or staying on stock is recommended

After using the ROM for a day, found this very smooth, with limited customisation options, very carefully choosed, so you dont miss the customizations. Though addition of some more customizations would be welcome.
Just one bug I feel is that the equaliser has no effect on the audio using headphones or on speaker. Can this be looked into.
Customizations if these can be added
1. Clear all button in bottom.
2. Screenrecord option in quick tiles and power button options
3. Slide fingers to take screenshots
4. Toggle option to enable disable wifi Bluetooth and data
5. Option to set seperate ringtone for each sim
6. Option to play ringtone from headset only when inserted
7. Hardware button lights only when buttons pressed and should not light when screen pressed

Thanks for this wonderful ROM

Hello thanks for the feedback;

1. Is recently added, so next update will have it
2. Will be added to the feature request list
3. will be added to the feature request list
4 also
5 will look into it
6 will look into it
7 that's common

I try to keep up with everyones wishes and everything the user wants will get into the rom and kernel, but it needs to be 100% clean and stable, so sometimes it can take a while for a feature or anything has been merged in the ROM...

Edit: I have no problems on the equalizer my self, can some confirm this?

Cheers

    OwnKernel-OwnPlus3/t

    Only for LOS-N based ROMS!!!

Ownkernel is aimed to have the features YOU would like, and have the best EAS support possible. It's based on RenderKernel by @RenderBroken. I would like to take this oppertunity to thank him for his awsome work on EAS!!!

    What is EAS?

    Right here we go.
EAS is a completely different breed compared to the conventional HMP system, where it serves an entirely different purpose of achieving the optimal balance between performance and efficiency, with the latter taking the top spot. EAS achieves that via cleverer tasks placement, by which the system determines which is the more efficient cluster for the task to be processed by, as well as categorising the different tasks into cgroups (top-app, foreground and background, in order from highest priority to lowest priority respectively) by which each cgroup receives its sliver of the available firepower (cpuset). EAS also offers the capability of inflating the perceived load, that's determined by the load trackers, of the task in any of the cgroups via its schedtune.boost setting, and whether the task should be processed by all the cpu cores available or only by the cluster the task has been placed on via its schedtune.prefer_idle setting. One of the key features of EAS is lifting almost all the processing from the governor to the CPU scheduler (no it is not the I/O scheduler, something different) and letting it take much much more control, leaving the CPU governor to only do the frequency determination part, which unsurprisingly relies heavily on data supplied by the scheduler. With all that said, it is easily deduced that EAS is not all about governors and governor settings and the like, rather a much cleverer solution that serves the purpose of seeking the best balance between performance and efficiency, and to ensure the CPU is not overdoing a task or the CPU governor is overshooting a simple task, which would attribute to needlessly draining a lot of power as a natural consequence. EAS is about ensuring you get the smoothest UI possible while retaining as much power as possible. However, that does not mean that EAS is lame poor when it comes to performance. Sometimes, if not in most cases, this cleverer tasks placement makes tasks get processed faster, a point that is already proved quite well by the EAS-supporting non-OOS based custom ROMs like VertexOS, ZeNiTy-RR and PAEX. Conserving battery does not necessarily mean crushing performance. This explains that app launches are on-par with HMP if not ahead of it sometimes.

Conclusion: You should try and see what suits you more. But something i can safely say is, EAS is more than satisfactory when it comes to performance from the perspective of a man that always seeks the best performance available, and with the battery gains you yield with EAS, it can go better.

    Features:

    - Up-To-Date EAS Commits
