Sorry for this noob question.
Will this ROM unlock my network-locked S5?
No. I've never seen a ROM that will actually unlock a network locked phone. Normally you should ask the carrier you are locked to to give you a sim unlock code to unlock your phone.
If you cannot get one from your carrier, you can purchase an unlock code from an unlock company. I have used swiftunlock.com with some success. They charged me 20 bucks but were by no means swift. It took a couple of days to get the code but once I did it worked correctly.
Good Luck.

Actually as far as i know yes it will. If you root the phone and flash any custom rom then voila it should be fine
NOT true. Custom ROMs do not sim unlock phones. As this question in any ROM thread and you will see.
Let's make sure we are talking about the same thing. A sim locked phone is locked to one carrier. So if I have a sim locked phone on T-Mobile service and I try to put an AT&T sim card in it, it will display an error and ask for an unlock code. This unlock code can be provided by the carrier or purchased from a unlock code company. Some of the earliest android phones could be unlocked by going into service menus and going through a series of steps and it would be unlocked.
I have used many ROMs and many phones and have never seen a ROM that could sim unlock a phone.
So what you are saying is that your phone was locked to a specific carrier, and you'd try to put a different sim card in it and it would ask for an unlock code. Then you loaded a custom ROM and you were able to put the other carrier's sim card in and it wasn't locked any longer and you could make calls?
Which ROM are you talking about and which two carrier sims did you use?
Actually when i got my phone brand new i didn't put the original sim card in initially. I put another one instead. But since then ive had several different carriers sims in mine and they all work
Hello to you,
you are already in BL oft 6.0.1, so you can skip step 4.
Just pick factory reset, then it works.
Everything else okay?
I would like to try this ROM but not sure about step #4:
Flash with Odin version 3.10 or newer:
Bootloader XXU1CPG1 6.0.1 and Modem XXU1CPD2 6.0.1
Select at BL the Bootloader file and select at CP the Modem file and then press start.
If you already have Samsung's Android 6.0.1 bootloader and modems you can skip this step
I have:

Model #: SM-G900P
Android version: 9.0.1

Also, what exactly is meant by "full wipe"? I have TWRP 3.1.1-0 installed and when I click "wipe" I have three options: "Advanced Wipe", "Format Data", and "Swipe to Factory Reset"...
First of all thank you to INDIE and all developers for this great ROM.
Since when I flashed my S5 with the ROM I start getting this pop up "check port moisture has been detected" at each reboot.
I tried to use the Xposed fix but it does not work.:crying::crying:
Does anyone has some suggestion?![]()
Which twrp Version do you use?Sorry for sounding stupid. Giving the omega rom a go on my S5. I trying to install the remove bloatware app. I can get into twrp and install it that way but as soon as I do the phone goes bonkers i.e. crashes
