Have just fixed Voltage changing issue... Will upload version 0.5 soon..
I am having all sorts of problems... the transition from ics to jb is not smooth.

Coming from ICS v1.0, did a wipe cache & dalvik... installed ROM, kernel, gapps... no go... kept freezing/rebooting/coming back to recovery.

Reinstalled rom, tried several times, a few times it was freezing during install... after several attempts got the v0.3 ROM installed with gapps.
This process drained almost 90% of the battery. Left it to charge... later, I tried to flash kernel v0.4... when the ROM was close to loading 100% it would reboot. I have wiped cache & dalvik. Same problems. I forgot about the phone, talking on the other phone and minutes later it was extremely hot and frozen, black screen. I have removed the battery and I am letting it to cool down. Waiting for kernel v0.5

I am afraid I have to try a full wipe.

Any suggestion?

Kernel v0.4 refuses to boot on utackas CM10 "nightly". It just hangs at the bootloader. v0.3 boots just fine. v0.3 doesnt expose all governors though I believe, so I'm interested in v0.4.
Just sayin', could also be a bad download. I'll redownload when I'm at home and try again.

Upgrading from ICS to JB is a big change and a full wipe is mandatory, I'm afraid. You have seen the consequence of dirty installs yourself.
I agree, but at one point has worked. I will try again as soon as it charges back, at least try the v0.3 and do a backup with Titanium :D It's not my primary phone, so I am not that worried. Will try v0.5 in a bit, if not, fall back to v0.3 with which I had luck.

Except I'm not transitioning my Android build anywhere. I'm just moving between kernel versions. But yeah, sometimes stuff on xda is borked, can happen... ;)

Hi novic. Thanks for your sweet junk once again. :)

Regarding the ROM itself ans not the kernel, what is the difference between ypirs and cm10? I mean : since I'm already running cm10 is there a point in flashing the whole ROM instead of just the kernel over the one I'm currently using?

Thanks

I confirm the issues of v.4 with paranoid -cm10 rom (imilka)
i tried 4 time to install that kernel and 4 time problem in cwm
i think its a cwm issue, cause for 3 times my cwm has blocked during the wipes or during the rom istallation.
my 3 friends had the same issues
try to check the cwm stability.
i'll wait for the next release, because this is a great kernel.

Also, there seems, indeed, to be issues with cwm with 0.4. Had to flash something over with Odin.

Had the same bug in my cm9.1-based AniDroid.. already improved it in 1.1 version..
Will make improved JB version soon

Well, I'm not even able to boot properly into 0.5, so I can't really try it. Sticking to 0.3 atm untill you can produce a zip that I can flash through cwm. Thanks.

Using Hydracore 4.3b non OC and everything is running very smoothly
Moreover seems that battery life is better.

Waiting for your new kernel version, thanks
