I would use titanium backup. ... For restoring from a different rom.

Been a little while since I've been in shostock, Is there a recommended kernel tweaker you prefer to use jeboo or anything?

This is basically a stock kernel. .. But in the past I have preferred cpu adjuster.

Nice love this rom. Anyway to disable the home button vibrate? A little weird lol

It's the same as stock. But you never know.

Not on the plans at this time but it could happen in the future.

Instead of making shoman make the center clock why not just install nottachs module and set it yourself?

Rockin the ROM and I gotta say...it feels real nice.I do kinda miss the home button wake, but udder than that....pure butter!
In my daily usage, I can not find anything that doesn't perform like/better than stock.

Simply search the GS4 forum and you will figure out how to get that back.

Users need to stop asking about this, search and you can fix it yourself.

The home button used to be a problem when I would reach in my pocket and pull the phone out and push the button and the movement would make the light come on. Now all is well.

I just installed this rom and it will now be my daily driver at least for some time. Everything is great. I can't speak for performance because I didn't really have any lag before but the power menu is great. The flashlight addition is wonderful. I ran xposed framework and Nottach mod and everything plays nice. I absolutely love the fact that you included the exchange security bypass. Saved me some time. Just a couple of requests:

Additional fonts baked into the ROM
Allow shortcuts and widgets on lock screen even when lock is enabled (not sure if its possible)
Dark theme for dialer, SMS, etc.


Also, are there any suggested settings within the rom to fully utilize its potential? I just don't want to be holding it back because I didn't use a setting. Great work, and thanks for keeping the Samsung stuff in. Looking forward to the s translator fix, I actually used it recently.

In case someone wants to know, flashed via Penguin's CWM recovery using full OP directions. Came from stock rooted MDB with custom recovery on an AT&T variant,

Thanks for sharing your ROM. The S4 is a nice upgrade from the S2. One of the best things about the S2 was your ROM that tweaked what needed tweaked and left the rest alone. I was glad to see you pick up the S4, I think this will be a good phone. Performance seems great especially with a little aftermarket fine tuning and battery life has been very good. It holds up very well with heavy use and sleeps like a baby. I'm trying to get used to not plugging it in 2 or 3 times during the day. Thanks again!

I thought people were just making suggestions. Maybe the dev likes one of the ideas. No one seems to be demanding anything. But I do agree that with the success of nottach's mod, these simple theming tweaks are a few touches away and should be done that way. I just don't see anything wrong with making suggestions unless OP doesn't want any - OP?

Its not the suggestions but the continual +1 that takes space and is unnecessary. Besides roms are meant to be a developers preference of how the phone should be. Not exactly to please everyone

Any particular reason you love the idea of no home button wake? Because I broke power button on my S2 in 6 months use and survived on swipe2wake of kernel feature until I replaced the power button for $40.

I am not sure if it will work. I don't know what the differences are. I would imagine that at least the kernel and modem would have to be different.

I'm caseless and it seems that at times the phone would wake in my pocket. Its such and easy mod that I have no idea why anyone couldn't change it themselves, including you. :fingers-crossed:
Also as many times as I used the power button testing our rom for the i777 I never had the problem. I would dare say that I used the power button at least 3 times more then any user.

Suggestions are fine.... I don't take well to demands and repetitive +1's etc... especially after I answer someone who originally made the suggestion. We make the ROM how we like it so at the end of the day if a suggestion get included or not, we have to want it ourselves. On the other hand, we've been known to add some things based on popular demand.....stay tuned.

Shortcuts are set in the lockscreen settings and lockscreen widgets are set from the lockscreen itself as long as the multiple widget settings is enabled in the lockscreen settings.

I plan on theming the dialer, contacts and mms if I can.
