Hi. I flashed my TicWatch Pro 2020 back to stock ROM, because Google Pay now works in my country by default. I have now problem with update unable to install. It downloads the update, then it updates nowthing and I recieve after some time a notification with update unable to install. Any tips? Can I update manually?

I can't be of any direct help, unfortunately. But I can confirm having the exact same issue. I went back to stock for the sake of a working GPay, getting the update notification but can't actually update. Everything is stock, also the recovery...

Curious if anybody is able to update the "old" TicWatch Pro.

Thats a windows / driver related issue. If you use F.W.U.L for this everything works flawlessly.

Hi. I have a TicWatch C2. And I want to know if this ROM is still usable nowadays? Is gpay working?

I want to install it because the lack of RAM on C2 makes the OS very laggy and maybe this ROM fixes the lag issues but my major concern is about GPay. Because I use it for everything since I have bought a phone without NFC by mistake.

I can access the recovery mode menu, but I don't know what to do from this point on. I have downloaded Minimal ADB and Fastboot. But I am not sure what to do next. Can someone help me from here please? I want to do a restore to get my watch working again--just not sure how. Thanks!

REQUIREMENTS

- Ticwatch Pro, Ticwatch Pro 4G, Ticwatch Pro 2020 Ticwatch C2 and Ticwatch E2 ONLY INTERNATIONAL VERSION. It may also work on Chinese version too but I haven't test it personally.
- An unlock bootloader, working driver and working adb/fastboot
- You can download ADB/FASTBOOT from here Download: ADB/FASTBOOT
- Custom recovery TWRP- (Se download section below)

HOW TO FLASH- STEPS
###################

(FOLLOW EITHER THE INSTRUCTIONS FROM MEGA FOLDER OR THE STEPS BELOW)

- Download the latest ROM, latest vendor, latest Magisk and busybox - (Everything are include in the MEGA folder)
- Attach your watch to your PC and enable USB Debugging from settings menu. Ensure adb/fastboot is working. Please Google and see "how to enable debugging from settings menu".
- Extract the vendor folder and go inside the folder (Here you will find vendor.img and twrp.img + other files)
(You have to flash the vendor image and format userdata and cache)
- Boot your watch into fastboot/bootloader mode by applying the following code.

- adb devices
- adb reboot bootloader
- fastboot flash vendor vendor.img
- fastboot format userdata OR fastboot erase userdata
- fastboot format cache OR fastboot erase cache
- fastboot boot NAME-OF-THE-TWRP.img (Se the name of the twrp.img)

- Now move the ROM, Magisk and busybox to your watch.
- Flash the ROM and reboot. If you prefer root then
- Flash busybox and finally Magisk (IMPORTANT flash ROM, then Busybox and Magisk in this order)

NOTE
- When rebooting your watch, IF a Prompt come up and asking about installing twrp bla.bla then un-mark both lines/ then click on DO Not Install
- Let your device boot up, then connect your watch to your phone and finish the initial setting
- Open Magisk Manager and go to settings and set Automatic Response to Grant, Uncheck updates and Superuser notifications to None
- Reboot and enjoy

My watch in in bootloop from OEM, never got a chance to unlock bootloader. Is there a way to reflash any ROM even OEM?

- Add and update/Hide verifiedbootstate from /proc/cmdline in order to fix the failed SafetyNet CTS check(It can still fail through other means)-GOOGLE PAY SHOULD WORK. USE MAGISK TO HIDE ROOT. U may need Gpay enabler
- Remove verifiedbootstate flag from /proc/cmdline - Disable CRC check
- Scheduler optimize/support for heterogeneous multi-core
- Scheduler support for heterogeneous multi-processor systems
- Fixed and enable all core with scaling_available_frequencies <200000><400000><533330><800000><998400><1094400><1190400><1248000><1267200>- scaling down the frequency of the CPUs to 200 MHz during idl mode and rise the freq. to 1.26Ghz during high pressure.
- Change zswap max pool % to 20%. It will reduce CPU usage a lot
- Removed nolog usage, remove rtb logging from the kernel
- Remove selinux auditing from kernel for lower overhead
- Remove IPC logging from the kernel
- Disabled some kernel parameter to speed up the performance- at the cost of battery/ power consumption
- Remove some logging from several drivers
- Improve memory allocations -Should improve the device a lot
- Add some tweaks to improve the overall speed, apps startup are too faster
- Set zswap compressor to lz4 by default
- APM driver updated again to reduce battery usage during sleeping
- Several other patches to reduce battery usage
- Multi-core scheduler enable/optimized
- APM driver updated reduce battery usage during sleeping
- Fix the wake up time. The screen should wake up more quickly when pressing the button.
- Tweaked the scheduler to reduce/save power by scaling down the frequency of the CPUs or idling them,
- A lot subsystems converted to use power efficient workqueue
- The watch goes to sleep during no action in order to save battery
- Remove debug event logging-Kill the useless logging to reduce overhead
- Remove sync debug entirely to cut down CPU waste in the frame render hot path
- Remove 10 ms CPU idle latency unvote timeout- Doesn't force the CPU to stay out of deep idle states for far longer than necessary, which wastes power
- Disable audit support, usually comes with a measurably significant amount of overhead
- Remove audit dependency
- Optimize interrupt CPU usage, It significantly cuts down the overall power consumption and speed up the performance.
- Use a timer frequency of 100 Hz to improves throughput and significantly reduces the number of interrupts firing off per second, improving power consumption.
- lpm-levels: Remove debug event logging. It will improve and reduce overhead.

- Download the ROM+Vendor+Magisk zips from the MEGA-Folder/
(1-Ticwatch-E2-PWDR.190618.001.B3-XDA-Feb-9-LMKiller.zip, 2-vendor.zip and latest Magisk- see the link in the main page)
- Enable ADB in the Developer Settings
- Once done connect your watch to your computer and do "adb reboot bootloader"
