Thanks for your work. Everything work like a charm. Rom is really fast, but I have one problem. First boot with kitkat I was able to set my things like apps etc. When I reboot darkmoon I was able to only see my lock screen for about 10 seconds and then it powered off. Someone know whats the problem? :fingers-crossed:

Hi, thanks for your work :good:

I reverted to the Modified Stock WIKO JellyBean Rom for various reasons. After reinstalling the stock rom, i was offered the official WIKO Darkmoon update 17.06.16. After installing the update, the phone rebooted into recovery every time. I had to reflash the modified stock rom with SPFlash. It did not make a difference, if root was enabled or disabled.

I guess the modified stock rom causes some compatibility issue with the mentioned update

Other than that, the Kitkat rom was good and felt a lot quicker than the stock rom :)
But the camera issue (blueish pictures in Whatsapp) and instability with my OBD bluetooth car diagnostic dongle made me revert to the stock one.

Hey guys,

first of all i want to say thanks for the great work at Wiko Darkmoon stuff. Unfortunately i have a problem with my device and i hope anyone can help. I succesfully installed KitKat on my device (Wiko Darkmoon) and everything seems well first. After a while i get problems with the gps-signal. I recognized that the gps-fix wasn´t a problem since the screen is off. In the moment of turning the screen on (to check the way i´m walking) each by each satellite just say goodbye and my gps-fix was gone. I don´t know, if the reason for this behaviour lies in the KitKat-Rom or the constellation of Apps installed. Nevertheless i tried to reset my phone to factory within running Android-system (not in recovery-mode). Then the big problems were beginning. It does some stuff at the reboot-procedure, but it seems that he couldn´t finish this (restart). After that i uninstalled all gps-using apps. Step by step i reinstalled my apps again. But now several apps aren´t working anymore (only starting sometimes, sometime hanging up and so on). I decided to install the rom a second time. I used the procedure from post 1. The SD-Card was also insered. I guessed the SD-Card will be formatted, because of the partitioning for KitKat. I tried to save my stuff and format the SD-Card by hand in Windows. Ooops. This doesn´t work due to missing permissions (deleting all files also won´t work, they appear again after unplugging and plugging into SD-Card-slot). I was a bit surprised and thought, let´s try it anyway. It seems to work (flashing again), but the problems are still there. I became a bit crazy about that and was trying to format the sd-card (i thougt this was the problem). Camera, other smartphone in recovery mode, windows tools, nothing helped. Then, now the real problem^^, i started SP Flash tool again, saw the button "Format" and maybe in rage i clicked it (ignoring the following hints, but the "except bootloader"-entry was set to yes). Since that, my Wiko Darkmoon is dead. It doesn´t show any reaction, no charging light, no starting screen, no recovery mode, nothing. I tried to Download all the files within the scatter-file again, but it seems that the tool don´t recognize the phone. Windows makes the typical sound at plugging something in and also in the hardware-manager i can see the VCOM-entry. After some time SP Flash Tool shows the BROM Error S_Timeout (1042). I tried to download only the preloader or any other file, nothing happens.
So are there some solutions, how to fix a dead Wiko Darkmoon? I read in another forum that there is a possibility, if there is a second working Wiko Darkmoon available... First i don´t have a second one, and second the instructions are not that easy like "normal" flashing. So guys, take the challenge to revive a dead Wiko Darkmoon ;)

Best regards
