thanks a lot!
maybe a dumb questions.
whats the diff in AOKP Kitkat 4.4.4 r 2.0.1 and Cyanogenmod 11 4.4.4 r 2.0.1?
thats the rom file right ?

1.download bauner kernel - do i flash it after step 10 ?
do i flash bauner kernel and OPTIONAL kernel or just one of them ?
which one is the best ?

and also i want to do the Partition mod
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2642299
should i do it before or after i flash everything ?
If you want to repartition your device the best way is before flashing the rom.

The aokp version is based on the aokp rom http://www.aokp.co/ and the cyanogenmod version is based on the cyanogenmod rom http://www.cyanogenmod.org/

do steps 1 to 10 as mentioned.
and after you boot your device finally when everything is installed (ROM+Gapps), IT IS OPTIONAL for you to flash ANY ONE of the three kernels I mentioned at the end of the post. it is your choice. The ROM works perfect even with stock kernel(i.e, the one that comes with the ROM)

no, you need to download bauner kernel as in step 1. it is required as an initial step which will be used to install the ROM.
flash the bauner kernel first, then reboot into recovery and then continue with the instructions.

Call recording

no it records from mic
Is there any way to integrate two way call recording? There is a software called boldbeast call reacorder, which can go deep into recording options and which can try different ways for call recording.

I know that two way call recording can be enabled on kitkat on Galaxy note3 series, so it is software which must be manipulated on Galaxy note to have this option. The only reason I am still on 4.1.2 JB is the call recording fact. So I am very eager to know if there is any way to enable this on kitkat or Lollipop rom series.

Thanks in advance for the replies.

No I am on SlimSaber with default kernel but faced this issue with different Kk rom. And reboot always solved the problem.

@bauner I'm using your Kernel V1.2.1 1600MHz with the latest CM11 20150426 and everything works fine.
You can make a version with TRIM support?
With CPU 1400MHz and GPU 267Mhz my CM11 fly :)
This Kernel is really good, thanks!

I like this kernel, the transition from 200mhz powersave to pegasusq screen on is the fastest. The only thing is my touchkeys turn on even when I have them disabled.

@bauner, I'm currently using the standard 14mhz kernel with CPU tuner installed. However, it shows only 1400, 1200, 500, 100 frequencies available. And these stats sometimes disappears until i reboot, so would it be safe to force add in the custom frequencies myself? Other apps are showing 1400, 1200, 1000, 800, 500, 200 which is normal for me.

I'm planning to add in 100-1400 in 100mhz intervals, so that CPU tuner would show and implement these options. Would they have an adverse effect with your kernel?

I have never used cpu tuner, but this kernel is supporting 100-1400mhz in 14 100mhz steps
