Are both camera and camcorder working to their full extent? How about LTE?

Is this 100% working for a daily driver?

What are the issues?

How does this ROM compare with KangKat and vice-versa?

Read the OP's man, the differences are clearly stated.

What I can say is all 3 google edition ROMs on the AT&T forum are maintained by 3 dev's who you can count on :highfive:

undwn4par roms are quality, The on the fly battery mod from didact may just sell you on it, pair that up with some gravitybox and you might not want to flash anything else for a while

hope this helps bud

cheers!

I can't for the life of me get the modem working. I've tried faux 014u, faux 013u, faux 013m, and the stock kernel. Can't get APNs to save for ATT.

Any suggestions?

May be dumb question but did you flash Loki after ROM?. When I flashed ROM (clean) I flashed Loki to and didn't have any problems with modem or APN

Yeah, my exact process was as follows. I know formatting wasn't necessary but I wanted a clean internal SD.

1. format internal SD (normally just factory reset)
2. flash LP v2.1
2a. If I tried a different kernel I installed it at this point
3. flash loki doki
4. Wipe cache/dalvik

What's odd is I know the SIM itself isn't completely bad, as I can restore my nandroid of Stockup MJ6 and cell signal works fine.

Have you tried flashing the ROM, then booting in to recovery and restoring your EFS partition?

will this work with a MDJ baseband? or will I have to upgrade to a newer baseband first?
I don't know, but I am guessing you'll have to upgrade.

1. Restored stockup rom and backed up EFS partition
2. Factory reset
3. Install LP v2.1
4. Flash loki doki wipe cache and dalvik
5. Let rom load fully
6. Go back to TWRP and restored EFS partition from backup wiped cache and dalvik

No luck. I also tried all that without letting the rom load first. Same result.

When on the stockup rom I confirmed the mk2 baseband shows but for some reason as soon as I go 4.4 the sim card stops loading.

Hey guys, I'm on a GPE rom now (4.3) and at&t just pushed a KitKat 4.4 update to my phone. Where the heck is that stored? And yes, I do have titanium backup.

I havent made up my mind yet on which 4.4 custom rom to choose, but i dont want the downloaded update to kill my root etc.

I have not upgraded to the MK2 modem yet (still on MJ6). For the life of me I can figure out why this is not working for you. Other than trying the MJ6 modem, I am out of ideas.

The OTA is somewhere in /cache. If you delete it, it will most likely just download again.

If the OTA installs it will do more than just kill root. It may brick your device.

    Stock insecure kernel
    cLock widget
    Xposed framework

    New Google Launcher
    Notification Toogle app
    AdAway
    AOSP Browser
    Over 90 wallpapers
    MMS with Quick Reply
    Custom Settings:
    -On-the-Fly battery mod
    -Battery Bar
    -cLock widget

    MD5: 56878d272b6782965760be0910abaff6
    Lets-Play_S4_GPE_v2.1

    Install
    Flash at your own risk!!!
    First install:
    Check MD5
    Nandroid backup
    Factory reset
    Flash ROM
    Reboot

    Update:
    Check MD5
    Nandroid backup
    Flash ROM
    Reboot

This kernel is not loki-patched, so AT&T users must be sure to flash loki-doki.

You may have issues using CWM based recoveries with this ROM. If so, try TWRP (it's what I use).

    Useful Tools
    MD5 check utility
    Wiping Tools
Chainfire's SuperSU (flash this if you ever lose root)

Please be sure to head over to one of ktoonsez's thread and hit the thanks button. He fixed some pretty irritating issues with GE 4.4.

Do not try to use ART yet (new Android runtime). GE 4.4 is still having some issues.
