You are right, i didn't install the sky kernel that's why, after that everything is fine. just the battery drain.. I will soon write my story of "soft brick" the device in the general tab and give the full guide on how to flash your first rom + twrp. The mini heart attacks i got are unimaginable that's why i ll make a full guide with do's and dont's for new users ! Great Rom @miscom . I will soon thank you for your efforts. I will also thank you even more if this battery problems are fixed :D Thanks again!
Which sky kernel are you referring to mate? I only found a tw version.

Which sky kernel are you referring to mate? I only found a tw version.

There are 3 versions of it from what i understood : It's called Skyhigh kernel and was made by Upintheair

He made 3 versions : 1 version is for T700 and T705 when running stock ROM
1 version is for T800 and T805 when running stock ROM
1 Version for T700 when running CM ROM

You can find them in the original android development.

Hope i helped!

Wifi not re-enabling after sleep

I have a strange issue with cm-11-20150104-UNOFFICIAL-klimtwifi.zip that I don't have with cm-11-20150401-UNOFFICIAL-klimtwifi.zip

When reactivating the tablet after sleep (and wifi was deactivated during the sleep to preserve battery) the WIFI doesn't automatically reconnect, it just shows a greyed out wifi connection and no available networks. On 20150104 I have to disable wifi and enable it again for it to reconnect. Tried first to just reboot, didn't change it and then reflash 20150104 and it didn't fix it either. Downgrading to 20150101 fixed it right away and I was back to the normal behavior with it reconnecting automatically within a second or two. My WIFI is a 5GHz WPA2-Personal encrypted one.

Anyone else seen this?

There's quite important update preventing permanent wakelock from Google Play Services which was also merged to CM11 3 days ago. http://review.cyanogenmod.org/#/c/91021/

cm-11-20150323-UNOFFICIAL-klimtwifi.zip 228.1 MB

I have telephony enabled in my build cause I use native SIP support. Use second version if you don't like that.

cm-11-20150323-UNOFFICIAL-klimtwifi-no-phone.zip 223.0 MB

I noticed that for some reason Term.apk (Terminal Emulator) doesn't work. I'm not sure why (no more cm-11.0 branch?) but it can be easily replaced with version from Play Store.

    CyanogenMod (pronounced /saɪ.'æn.oʊ.dʒɛn.mɒd/) is an enhanced open source firmware distribution for smartphones and tablet computers based on the Android mobile operating system. It offers features and options not found in the official firmware distributed by vendors of these devices.

     * thermonuclear war, or you getting fired because the alarm app failed. Please
     * do some research if you have any concerns about features included in this ROM

    1. Download the zip(s) - firmware and Google Apps additional package (optional)
    2. Download and install a compatible recovery
    3. Wipe data, system & cache partitions and flash firmware
    4. Optional: install the Google Apps additional package

    Known Issues:
    - XBMC and some games touch input will fail. A work around would be to purchase a bluetooth keyboard, they are pretty cheap from ebay, or use your existing one to navigate inside XBMC until we solve the problem.
    - audio routing does not work when making calls with viber, hangout or skype while connected to bluetooth headset.
    - MHL output the colours wrong and audio does not route to tv.
    - Google movies will crash if you want to download locally.
    - Anything else? you tell me

    new build

    hello everyone :)

    using the new kernel
    CM upstream changes

    Anyone who want to fork and build his own will be able to, now that I have fixed up all the sources, the builds should work out of the box.

    I will soon write a step by step in post #2 on how to build your own.

    Mate, I'm greatly appreciative of your efforts as I'm sure a LOT of people are in here! It's great to see an Aussie leading the way on the Tab S. :D

    Under the 'Performance' tab in 'Settings' - does changing the profile actually affect anything? I changed it to 'Power Save' but it reverted back to 'Balanced' at reboot.

    Also, what's your recommended CPU governor (Conservative, On Demand or Interactive)?

    thanks you for your kind words, I recommend interactive, excellent battery life and performance, as for the performance governors, I will have to add support in kernel, will do that with the next build, the new build is nearly done, will be uploading soon. if you want to make changes stick you can use trickster or from setting/performance change it there and tick set on boot.

    How to build your own

    The Guide

    1) please visit this thread and follow the instruction to prepare your build environment.

    2) once you have CM11 sources downloaded and ready on your build server.
    You will need to find your roomservice.xml android/.repo/local_manifests/roomservice.xml and add the following entries:

    <project name="barracuda7/android_device_samsung_klimtwifi" path="device/samsung/klimtwifi" remote="github" revision="master" />
    <project name="barracuda7/android_kernel_samsung_chagallwifi" path="kernel/samsung/chagallwifi" remote="github" revision="cm-11.0" />
    <project name="barracuda7/android_vendor_samsung_klimtwifi" path="vendor/samsung/klimtwifi" remote="github" revision="master" />

    click save.
    Note: if you fork the repos to your own github account, replace barracuda7 with your own github username.

    3) from terminal type the following:
    repo sync this should download the blobs, device tree and the kernel.
    breakfast klimtwifi will add the rest of the repo's that are needed.
    source build/envsetup.sh
    brunch klimtwifi

    if all above steps were done successfully depending on how fast is your build server you should end up with a zip in about an hour or more.
    you can find the zip file here:

    You are most welcome to post question on this thread regarding building the rom, please only PM me if it is not this rom related, in this way other users can benefit from
    the information

    Happy Building :)
    Will flash as soon as it's ready. :)

    here is the new build, found the problem why it was stuck at logo, so hopefully this will boot with no issues:

    if wifi is not working, can you please flash this kernel and let me know so I can fix it with the next build:
